  • fyfan va fint! dubmood är nog en av dom bästa sakerna som kommit från sverige!

  • *newfag

    *renard

    ...on a dubmood video.

    interesting.

  • @TowelDynasty Look up "youtube comments" on Urban Dictionary.

  • Cwanna know some funny? this song sounds better in 240p LOL

  • @bloodydiareah By 'eck, I think you're on to something! It brings the bass out better for a start. Bizarre.

  • I'm seriously thinking of flagging this song because it's addictive :O

  • Damn solid chiptune. This will make a nice addition to my chiptune playlist.

  • >implying i wasn't in Dubmood's WoW guild. this dude is genius.

  • L0ng live HYBRID!!!

  • Ahh the epicness of 8-bit... fuck makes me feel old even though I'm so young. I miss the noises back in the day when techno was new and people explored the realms of sound to new frontiers. I'm not saying todays tech ain't good but it's gotten stale but thankfully there are plenty of shitty (eg. rap, hip hop, metal, etc) songs out there that need a remixing into something worth hearing.

  • @FitzChivalryFarseer2 Ordinarily I'd call you out on this actually being 16 bit, but your heart's in the right place so I can't bring myself to do it. However, lift your spirits, check out the old-hardware chiptune scene, it's still pretty vibrant. And Dubmood is one of the dons of it, at the moment, his stuff (and the remixes, and the mixes of his stuff by other people) are amazing. Ancient hardware put to new use, like finding a 50 year old guitar in the attic and making it rock out once more.

  • @TahreyUK Lulz oops my bad sounds like... well you know. ^^' I dunno about the techno scene though... for gods/devils/saints/masters sake look at the recent shit called dubstep that has come out. The good stuff has become vintage and cult >.>

  • @FitzChivalryFarseer2

Haha... no worries. Admittedly the 2149 was already old when installed in the ST (and also went into the MSX, Spectrum 128k, Mastersystem) and they're using SID-voice FX here.

I'm just being an old pedant :D plus it's actually a MOD with synth samples in it... it's a retro remix of something that started life as a DOS PC tune!

But, whatevs. It doesn't matter in the end so long as it sounds good.

  • @FitzChivalryFarseer2

Chiptune dubstep, btw... interesting concept. I think it could work. Closest I've heard to anything like that are some of the wilder remixes of Dubmood stuff ("of", not "by"), and a little something called "Factored" by the chip artist "505". That one actually WAS a pure synth tune (there's a demodisk with it on that will run on an original 1985 ST) and it goes pretty hard.

  • ich mags, aber das orginal is in jedem fall besser.

  • Hybrid Song 2:20. Never, ever, ever forget.

Thank you for sharing this awesome remix by Dubmood.

  • We want a DOWNLOAD LINK!

  • been looking for this!

  • This is an epic.

  • Who made this song? I mean, who was the first guy?

    Dubmood? Quazar?

  • @elmusho the original is by Quazar/Sanxion, also known as Axwell. This is a "remix"

  • Original is betta!

  • @miikhailov agreed whole heartedly

  • @miikhailov no-one cares?

  • @TwiIightSparkle 21 people do ;)

  • I WANT TO PLAY GAMEBOY!!!

  • Yo Lemme write a lyric to this yo my name is proGravestoneface from the netherlandz,

    Great Music btw

    PEACE

  • @lie20121983 You think he made it?...

  • that's pretty nice

  • nsrrenard is better ,0,

  • Shut your whore mouth in the presence of greatness, newfag.

This was old when your precious Renard was young.

  • @Raveseeker you speak wise, words so easy..

  • @Raveseeker

    EMOTIONAL!

  • @Raveseeker Old doesn't make it good, great or anything positive. In fact, old is almost invariably a synonymous to "worse than newer". Ps. Fuck you.

  • @Isnaard

    Thou vexed, catamite?

  • @Raveseeker yo dude, dinosaurs called. They want their accent back.

  • @Isnaard Newer is better than older? Only in computers and milk is that statement true. There are almost no movies made today that will be remembered in 20 years. The classics were all made in the 60s - 90s. New cars are built like tin cans while the 100-year old Model-T still runs like a tank. Music is being recycled and rehashed while the only creativity comes from the indie artists. Look at the 70s -80s for revolutionary music. Not everything gets better with age. Many things get stale.

  • @anthony62490 We have some. Avatar will probably be remembered, Toy Story 3 alike. That's just a few I can think of now.

  • @N1run Okay, I can get behind Toy Story 3, but I'm going to have to disagree with you about Avatar. Shutter Island I think will also be remembered.

  • @Isnaard ....wat....wat....WAT?????? old is no synonym for "worse then newer" ....old music rock the same as new music ......retard

  • @hanfgamer With the amount of punctuation marks you use I wouldn't call anyone else retard. It loses the credibility, don't you think?

  • @Isnaard ow god you really talking shit.....

  • @hanfgamer I'm not the one misquoting the other, so I wouldn't really start throwing insults that would better suit you.

  • @Isnaard

Little Richard. One of the oldest rock and rollers, and he tore it up.

When the 1960s wanted someone to fill the vacancy for a Justin Bieber type act, they ended up with The Beatles, and The Stones in the Nickleback slot.

    Myth? Busted.

I was born 1981, by the way. I'm not some hippie who wishes they were back in the 60s because you could make acid without getting arrested. But I'm not such a fool as to think old automatically = bad, no more than it automatically = good.

  • @Raveseeker fucking win.

  • @Raveseeker obvious wanabe btard spoted

    newfags say newfag

  • @dceugene

    Excuse me, tardape?

    I've been on 4chan since 2008.

  • @Raveseeker In all honesty, thats not that impressive.

  • @Raveseeker Whilst I'm in full agreement with you on a lot of things, that surely isn't something you want to crow about. There's rules.

(Or at least there used to be. I think I probably -left- the chans about '08-09 after wasting a lot of my life there, things might have changed :-p)

  • @dceugene LOOOL

  • @Raveseeker Dubmood and Renard are both great. Renard made something for the bronies - Dubmood is part of Razor 1911's demo division.

  • @TwiIightSparkle Oh come on man, if you're going to compare them use something like "Both use tracking programs" or "Both make chiptunes" or even "Both support piracy." But don't go on and say that making something for bronies puts you on par with one of the greatest names in chiptune music, that's just insulting to the amount of effort that goes into these songs.

  • @TheDestructoClub Oh dear, don't get butthurt at me. (I'm not saying you are, I'm just warning you)

Also, I'm using this tune for one of my future videos. And yes I do like dubmood.

  • @Raveseeker Renard and dubmood are my favorite artists...

  • @ManEatingLunchBox NO.. Not even close..

  • @ManEatingLunchBox

Your comment is why we can't have nice things.

Sure, I like the furry and his music but your comment is just no.

  • This is the background to the famous super slam.

  • He is doing great at RZR1911 :)

  • Wow, I got the original (by quazar) recorded on tape from 10 years ago :-P

    Same here man, good old memories :}

    *swoons*

  • Yup, me too ;-) And I still find that tune awesome!

  • Yeah me too. I tried to record it off my PC speakers but I lost the tape :( Lousy qual anyway.

  • There's software for that you know. Or go to dubmood's page and download his music.

  • Heh - well this was 11 years ago when there wasn't any programs like that and when tapes were still in :-P Luckily almost everything good ends up online these days.

  • Ah, I missed the time delay on your memories there. Instead of 11 weeks, we were talking 11 years there.

The times when tapes were awesome and 8 meg RAM was alot.

  • @ubbecykelkedja By that standard tapes are still great. If you mean casette tape where did you have that AND 8 MB ram? Or do you mean music casette?

  • @JohanKH I meant music casette tapes and 8 Mb RAM, respectively.

  • woah i like this good old amiga sound!!

    Very good! :)

  • Atari sound mate :P

The YM2149 soundchip at its best this.
