HI Emily, Just came across ur channel & I've been watching ur videos all day & i'm glad! I think you are very kind & talented. Your approach is the best! I was thinking of getting a labrador pup. I have heard they are very active and i was kinda worried if i could give so much time to it. But after seeing your border collie Splash act so calm, mature & not at all hyper at all, i can say u've done a great job.

Can you also post how to potty train a dog or housetrain it, Will be grateful.

hmm the idea is very interesting in trying to get a dog to comunicate like/dislike..I really like it, how's it going?can Splash tell you what she wants and doesn't want with other items ?I'd really want to teach my dog to nod yes and no. Like this : "Kora do you want water?"(Kora shakes head -no no).."Kora do you want beer?"(kora nods-YES YES) :D ooo I'm gonna check if you have a tutorial on how to teach a dog to nod :))

I love the paw work. Question... Hasty does "ashamed" where she brushes her paw over her nose. I can't seem to get her to rest her paw on her nose and leave it there like Splash does. Any suggestions on how to do that when the paw movement is so fast?

I shaped it, but you could just keep asking the dog the cue over and over and click when the dog holds the paw on the nose the longest, at some point they will get it that it is more reinforcing to just hold it there than to keep pawing. Also Splash does know a lot of maintained paw behaviors- 'keep doing that' - like a maintained paw lift etc. so it generalized quickly.
