That said, where such welfare organisations have been established in other countries, they invariably attract local dedicated staff. The Islamic rules for slaughter are very clear:

1. Sharp Knife

2. Unsuspecting animal (Don't let it know you'll slaughter it)

3. Cutting a certain vain for the death to be swift.

Tell you what: just google "Islamic slaughter" and read the first few results. Don't say things from FOAX you didn't research!

Also what about Kosher meat? It's the same. (I do NOT say Kosher slaughter is bad, but IF it's bad, why pick on Islam only? Coz CNN didn't mention Kosher?)

Please look at how your meat is killed. You stun them, hand them from their legs and bleed them to death. You have the animals in ques watching each other killed one after the other forbidden in Islam. Before they are killed you put them in disgraceful living conditions given them litrally no space to walk like Chickens. Forbidden in Islam. Slaughter is painless because the nerves and cut first and its the most humane method avaliable. Might no look nice but

its not painful.

I don't eat industrial meat because like you said, the living conditions and alimentation of the animal is hawful. I take my meat from small farms where the animal lives free, able to run around and fed with organic nutriment. For the killing part, well that's a tricky one but if you tell me that in halal farms, the animals are treated better then maybe I'll consider eating halal meat. I need more information on that.

Fred, what I can tell you is that Halal farms *should* have animals better treated. You know it's like saying Christians *should* "love their enemies" :).

Information about a specific (nearby) farm must be researched by you or by a person you trust. Use "Islamic Finder" (google it) website to find close by halal shops.

I appreciate your sincerity and sympathy with the weak. I have a genuine interest in animals (apart from Islam) and was glad to know about the Hadeeths I mentioned in the vid.

Yes halal meat has great conditions for the animal or it wont be halal. They MUST have space and must be in comfort and when slaughtered they are not with each other because thats cruel.

With all the investigations carried out in UK there has not been one caught treating the animals cruelly.
