Some kids at a childrens home were playing the muppet version of this and I told the nurses and their aides where this song really came from. At first they didn't believe me until I pointed it out here.
one good sample of italian music of that period. From that time came many of the most poular composers of the perod. A pity these musics are not well known as they would deserve

@0:22 "swedish rhapsody," @0:37 "santa lucia," @1:11 "boogie woogie bugle boy," but what's the song @0:53? it's not "lullaby of birdland," although "lullaby of birdland" does surface in "the muppet show" version.
@wallofvideo The song @0:53 is Umiliani's own composition, a repeated melodic theme that appears throughout the Sweden: Heaven and Hell soundtrack. For example, check out "Stoccolma My Dear".
@LeoNG628 omg, you don't say? I could NEVER imagine liking a song that was older than me! I thought good music was only invented in my lifetime! Forget the 4,000+ years of humans trying to set music down.
@LeoNG628 lol, it is good. Muppets made it more famous than it ever was, and people tend to not realise that it was actually from "Heaven and Hell" originally.
I love this song LOL it makes me think of one of those old movies where like Chevy Chase (I hope I spelled that right) Plays in and he's like waiting in an elevator or somthing HAHAHA That would be Epic GOLD!
Muppets...? MAN everything is ripped from the 60's 70's..

Jim Henson did it better. But it's still great! When my life flashes fore my eyes, I hope the Sesame St. skits of it play on repeat.

@MsGucciSu The film wasn't porn, but it did have alot of sexual content.

@breseemaxwell I believe it categorized as soft core porn.

@MsGucciSu The Muppets actually started out targeted toward an adult audience, so it makes sense.

@Shahamu I can see where that might be so. Personally, I always thought most of it went right over the top of kid's heads.
