I admire this man's courage. The strength of the world is not enough to empower a man to come out into the open and admit one's blunders, especially one as serious as this. I think this man is drawing his strength from God when he made his confession. Look, he could have easily faked healing as well, and many will glorify God. but he chose to do what is right. I believe that this song was written by a sick man. Maybe not physical but spiritually and is a true cry out to God for deliverance and healing because mike understood his condition. The story of Mike and this song honors God in such a beautiful way. I love that God can use this as an example for me. It is the image of God pursuing my broken, messed up self. I can relate to Mike in that I know I am capable of doing a thing like what he did. I am able to see that although I am messed up, God is really & truly my healer. Seeing that I am so far from what is God's goodness- yet God, in who he is, loves me and would still forgive and grow me into someone who loves him more.
