games that involve the physically injury of the player necessarily get a more masculine reputation, which some a-holes can't stand. It's too bad. i play airsoft and lazer tag is cool too.
Yeah. Usually it's just a matter of getting those people to actually PLAY a game of OLT. Most of them think of arena tag (QZar, LaserQuest, etc) when people mention laser tag. I've had several painballers and airsofters come play tag with us, and they've all enjoyed it. Then again, there weren't any of their painball/airsoft buddies around to impress. ;-)
Actually, I have a video in the works that he stars in, though he doesn't have his gillie stuff on, just his ACUs and tac vest and stuff. Keep and eye on my vids, or subscribe to not miss it.
The really good pro gear is expensive, but you don't have to have pro gear to go milsim. I've got a guy who would put hard-core airsofters to shame if I let him, with all the camo he has he'd scare away potential players. ;-) Yes, the taggers look unrealistic out of the box, but a lot of people do paint and other mods, like you might see Nerf people do, that look pretty realistic. There's also recasing into airsoft shells.
have you ever played Milsim laser tag? Most of my videos don't show that side of it, but there's plenty out there. People get as hard core with it as airsofters do.
wow u rly do always reply to comments but im not saying it as a bad thing. and also im thankful for the people that serve so i can play and have fun also
So, you are a person for whom the realism of the weaponry is of primary importance. For us, it's at most secondary, and usually a lot lower. For us, it's more important to have long range, accuracy, cheat prevention, and scoring. Technically, airsoft is "fake-ass" because they're TRYING to look real, but they're NOT. Laser tag is NOT trying to look real, so how can they be fake?
clearly u have NEVER played airsof because its the funnest thing out there over GAY lazer tag and paintball so FUCK you those kids are gay and start your imbreeding process again bitch
I've played airsoft, but I prefer being able to shoot accurately more than 100 feet. I also prefer it when the hits are recorded automatically, rather than by trusting someone's dubious level of honor while playing. If you've played any competitions, you know that honor goes right out the door, and cheating, whether blatant or inadvertent, creeps in from everywhere. With airsoft, you might as well be playing Nerf or cap guns for all the "I got you!" and "No you didn't!" arguments.
That's WAY too easy, dude. At least give me something harder to make fun of. You might try tossing in some correct English and grammar while you're at it.
For a rebuttal, I'll say only one thing. It's obvious that you have never played decent outdoor laser tag. Whatever you've played is clearly, as you say, "gay."
i know their just kids but i would be smart not just stand their and get tagged. at least just be at a good distance and shoot then swarm in and take over.
This is a tricky game, though. The score is based on how many times you capture the base, and it's a timed game, so you can't just waste all your time trying to tag out the defenders. You have to neutralize them and then run in for a capture before they can defend the base.
Yes, I found another set of LTTO on eBay for a reasonable price of $68 (including tax) so now I could have a possible FFA game; just need some batteries. Anyway, nice videos man, subscribing for sure.
The UWP devices are custom things made by a tinkerer. Even *I* don't fully understand how they work half the time. It's not something you need to worry about, since you won't be getting any since they're not a product you can buy in stores.
If you can afford pro gear at $400 (and that's the CHEAPEST) per player, I say go for it. But LTTO has range equal to many, and exceeding several pro grade offerings.
Head sensors are nice, but I've played pro gear with them, and LTTO without them, and it's not THAT big of a deal. LTTO is sensitive enough to take well placed splash tags (off of nearby foliage or surfaces), and you can't fire blindly without getting tagged like some gear allows.
I'm in the yahoo group guys. ID is lazertagrocks, you know i think its a really good idea now that i've seen it used in a game. Are you gonna be selling these things??
Wow, nice video.. Contrary to what it looks like Todd and myself (the only blue guy at the green base) did fairly well at (Todd) guarding and capturing the green's (base) UWP .. The score was still 8 (blue) to 11 (green).

My main question is, why are you so mad, eh? Did some laser tag player pee in your fruit loops?
As much as I dislike airsoft and paintball, you don't see me running around calling them "gay" or implying that the players practice incest.
Calm down and live and let live, man. Go play your pea shooter games, and I'll play my laser tag games.

500-800 in daylight?
hmm.. if so i might just moddify the ltto... but i would really like it if it had head sensors...

Yep, LTTO has great range.
