Recently (like a year ago), an organization called Mothers of America decided to try to change military training, since they thought it was too hard, and their argument was "These boys have the RIGHT to serve our country." Since, Marine Basic has been pussed to hell. I PTed with the local marine pool for several months a year and two years ago, and I'll my friends who went to be infantry said it was easy. @360Nomad Now, if you are a marine who recently went through your training, your either very lucky, or not notably tough, if you thought it was hard. That same organization is now trying to hit the army infantry training, which, sadly, right now is putting out tougher fighters than the USMC, even though the MC is supposed to be an elite branch of our military, a fourth group with the highest average, though other branch's elite groups (Seals, Red Berets, etc.) do tend to surpass their standard.

@Sasuake1000 very true, When I was In the DEP the staff sergeant used to slaughter eveyone in PT regardless of MOS, I used to have a hard time driving home I was so sore...once I got to the island...I never got to that level of exhaustion and I was infantry, matter of fact the thing I found to be the hardest wasnt even the PT. The hardest part for me was trying to keep myself from giving all the future captain americas a blanket party
