I think it's a crying shame he had to announce his resignation, the BBC treat people like dirt. My father was sacked from his job as a lighting engineer on Blue Peter in 1972 for not joining in the daily worship of Biddy Baxter. This is a joke. He has left the BBC, but the actual video is fake. Peter filmed it on his phone outside the BBC building without anyone interviewing him and then sent it to his friend who edited it and added the reporters voices.

The BBC didn't recomission his TV show a while back and it's just getting released on DVD now, I think it's not through the BBC though. This is all mega lolz on his behalf.
