sorry for such a late response, i'm sure you've solved your problem by now, but i wanted to tell you that the easiest way to get approved by e-how right now (even though the ethics are questionable) is to simply find a popular article and re-write it. i am rated a 4 star at text brokers for original work, but currently ehow wont take anything that could be considered an "opinion piece" or even slightly provacative, basically they still want "how to bake a potato".
My problem is not how to write a good article for eHow, it's filling up the "resume" that they want you to upload (that lists your formal writing experience).
I don't have formal writing experience, but I know I can write killer articles for eHow.
