This apparently is by consequence, because when you go to Newgrounds to watch this video you'll discover that the creator's inspiration for this story was rooted in the Bible account of King Herod, who slayed Jewish babies out of fear that one might rise up to overthrow him as prophesied. The creator says this in his "fun facts" about the video.

Actually Zeus did eat at least one child. He got some Titan pregnant, then tricked her into becoming a fly and ate her. Eventually he started getting horrible headaches, and hephestus split open his head revealing Athena had been born and was fully grown and armored somehow. Which is why she's the goddess of wisdom.
