I have shimano catana small rood for barbel and every fish up to 5 kg .it is the best mashine that i ever had,you need to pull the fish with your stic not pul it with teh mashice,easy and every mashine is good,and now i bought shimano nehave 4000 fa its wreally good real.For fish up to 10kg .And for the bigger you have shimano stella baitrunnes and lots of others :) shimano is for me the best

the Nexaves are garbage rods pyedog, the Abu Suveran's the best feeder rod out there at the moment by a long way, it's good for barbel too.
