I love the rain, and I love walking in it. I don't own a raincoat either, as we don't get rain very often in Colorado. You should be fine with just an umbrella as long as it's not an utter deluge or blowing horizontally! I also love the sound of rain... when I was a teen some friends and I went on a visit to Louisiana (read: lots of rain!) and I just wanted to sleep on my friend's back porch listening to the sound of it. :)

(Continued) Turtle Beach's PX3 wireless headset is also VERY comfortable to wear. I own a pair myself, going on 6 months now, and have worn the headset through a 41 hour Skype call with my fiance and it didn't bother me at all. It does have a feature that lets you change the level of chat vs. gameplay going through your headset so that if you're playing a game like Call of Duty with explosions and gunfire it doesn't hurt your ears and brings clarity into things such as footsteps.

Kate!~ You should get Turtle Beach's PX3 wireless headset if you don't like rechargeable batteries. It IS expensive (about $140) but the 10 hour internal battery life and the fact that you can walk anywhere within 30ft of the receiver makes up for it. Also it's compatible with the XBox and PS3, not just the computer. It can also charge while you're using it too (12ft charging cord to add onto that) and doesn't charge for too long. (see other comment - couldn't fit it all in this comment.)

I'm glad you like your headset, Kate. I have to agree with you, though, wireless headsets are awesome exactly for the reasons you listed. I have the Creative WoW headset, and it's by far the best one I've ever bought (which is good, because it's also the most expensive by far). It is still comfortable even after wearing it for hours on end, and the sound is great. It's also the most durable headset I've ever owned. So if you ever want to replace yours, I recommend that one!
