MSNBC is removing Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews as the anchors of live political events, bowing to growing criticism that they are too opinionated to be seen as neutral in the heat of the presidential campaign.
WOW, if this wasn't a public computer I would SO be playing with myself during that first minute or so... this guy is HOT when he's roasting george bush
Alright. I don't necessarily disagree with this but I just want to clear a couple things up cos I hate exaggerated details. George Bush did NOT fire Mr. Levinn to cover his ass. There are plenty of government officials that think waterboarding is torture, so firing him would do nothing. I'm sure it makes Bush sound much more ruthless though. He probably fired him for petty political reasons.
Second, Bush is obviously not just getting anything out of these suspects to "fuel Amerecan fear" I know this for a fact and so should you. Why? Because when was the last time you heard what any of these suspects said? It's not being fed to the public, although I know that theory does make Bush sound very evil.
Then on a final note. Every one can be as pissed off at Bush as they want to be, but when will this anger lead to Congress? Bush is not a king and is given credit for more power than he has by the average American.
The fact of the matter is that Congress, who is run now by democrats, have done nothing to redefine torture laws, or limit the power in any way of an executive branch that not only needs to be limited, but most likely should be cleaned out and rebuilt completely. Bush is easy for many to dislike, but there are many more who are failing at their jobs.
George W. Bush needs to be dragged from his bed and into an interrogation room and be water boarded over and over again until he admits that he is being tortured. Then from there, he can be thrown in jail immediately for approving torture and for discrediting the office of the presidency.
@baribigbird06 dude the people he had turtured happend to be apart of killing many americans, they cut our men and womens heads off and killed them, we only made them feel like they was gonna die, but we didnt kill them, gee what was bush suppose to do, give them a cup of coffee and feed them, hey if our troops can get waterboarded during training the people who killed our people can do it to
Waterboard Mukasey so that he can make an educated decision about whether, or not, waterboarding is torture. No need to unquestioningly confirm him to the post to gain the clearance necessary to make that decision when there are real-life demonstrations of the technique widely available to him right now.
Nothing better than first hand knowledge to help a person understand whether something qualifies as torture!
Thank you for posting this so quickly, cmdrgmh. KO is my hero for speaking out like this. "And the prisoners up in Abu Grabe and down in Guantanamo, Dream about escaping to Execution Row." Appoint a special prosecutor, impeach cheney, impeach bush.

I would love to see obama prosecute Bush.
Maybe olbermann could serve as chief federal prosecutor. Have it air on Jon Stewart show live.
--History will really thank the "progressives" for that. I think Americans would love it!
Get the petitions. Sue, call your local ACLU, MADD, GLAD, PETA, petition Pelosi, subpoena Colin Powell. Did I forget anyone else?
Hurry, get while you can..... come get a piece! Make sure we allocate another 1Billion for the "Americans recovery from Bush" budget fund.
