I went to babayshambles at wembley in the week and it fucking blew my mind off.Best gig ive ever been to and ive seen the stones,oasis,the monkeys,roses and fuck loads more.Shotters nation is fucking awsome and i dunno how you can say he is nothing when he wrote songs like lost art of murder without the libs and carl.

The Libertines are more than the sum of their parts. While sometimes I do think his talent is overrated and overhyped by excitable people who can't even spell the word genius properly (and not least by Peter himself), Peter is definitely not nothing without the rest of The Libs and vice versa.

Dude Peter is The Libertines. They needed him a lot more seeing they broke up after kicking him out of his own band. Heres a little pointer before you respond to this go read "A Troubled Genius" (Petes bio) its available on Amazon.

In this book you will read how Pete wrote the majority of the songs and started the band even though at first Barat did not want to be in it.
