Very bad way to compare the phones, a lot of the things you sad where pure garbage, it's obviously known that the 9900 is an advanced device over the other bold models but again there is people with different financial status and might want to get a cheaper yet still a GREAT bb like the 9780. All in all you're trying to get your voice to a level where the sound gets unnatural ( like a cartoon character ) and you know shit about phones. Just annoying, "thanks" for spending my time THUMBS DOWN!

@1Stefco They're both awesome phones. I have both at the moment and I find that the 9900 is fast, smooth and just awesome, but I don't get as good a signal, because of where i live, as the 9780 does. If I'm in the city I have H+, as rogers calls it, and its fuckin' fast.

Well most blackberry user are more toward bbm,mail ,facebook and text message so in the end the newer phone will not do those thing faster then the older one.... i don't see any reason to pay 600 $ for a phone that will do exactly the same thing as the old one.... who need to do photo processing on is phone come on that useless , they should stop try looking like other popular phone we like the blackberry just the way it is , plain and simple :)

I'm getting the 9780 next Thursday. I know the 9900 is better and all but I still like the 9780's design better. I think the 9900 is a little too wide for me whereas the 9780 is a bit thicker. If I could choose, I would go for the 9780's design but at the same time being able to enjoy the new specs the 9900 comes with.

Hm, as a BlackBerry 9780 owner I must say there are times I wish the screen was capacitive, even before the 9900 came out. But this new 9900 hasn't really convinced me that it's worth to upgrade. The battery has less capacity, the browser seems to be slower although the pinch to zoom etc. are features the 9780 really lacks. Camera is argueably worse (no autofocus on the 9900). The big advantages on the other hand, would be the bigger keyboard (although I'm fine with the 9780) and the 1.2ghz CPU.
