I Loved Sonny and Cher they belonged together, it was a good and strange relationship... Cher explained it was like a father, daughter, then husband and wife relationship. You can tell in this tv clip that they LOVED each other. Even at Sonny's funeral you could tell that she still LOVED him....

I think that it shows in his affectionate manner towards her, and I think DEEP DOWN Cher still loved him too, even if it was not something that she was willing to talk about. After Sonny died in a freak skiing accident Cher did a TV Tribute Called Sonny and Me. It was touching. She had photos of them when they were both so young. This Clip was amongst the many things that Cher shared. As I recall she said that when Sonny came out she wasn't angry or upset, just in total shock! To this day, I'm sure that despite of all of Chers talents she realizes that without Sonny Bono she would probably still be just Cherilyn Sarkisan. The daughter of an Armenian immigrant.
