Wow this sucks.I just found out. What a man what a talent! Not to many of these good ole boys left.RIP MR SUMLIN.God Bless You & your family. You will be forever remembered.Thank you for everything you have given the world.I know your looking down smiling on all your blues brothers & sisters Doing there thing.Rock on in heaven TY ;0)
Don't you feel so close to him just listening to this? Although I know he passed away, I can still feel his pain through his fingers...Just bleeding the blues
got the chance to see Hubert in NY city few yrs ago in a small bar playing on a stool with a les Paul and joking with the audience. playing the last of the real blues we will ever hear. never forget that one, what a show and a musician
I've added a playlist with the full Guitar Boss set to extend this tribute to the great man. I also received some original photo's from Blues photographer Brian Smith which were added to two of the songs.
This is one of the most truthful songs to ever be recorded, song or played. Any man or woman that has ever Loved someone. When you listened to this one, you knew cousin Hubert song it for yooooooouuuuuuuu !!!!!!!!
Now there is no one that can say this is hard to listen to. He had great style and he always will be known and remembered for it. He is in Blues Heaven, we can visit but for now we cant stay. He is loved by a whole world and he gave that love to anyone he was around. He was not a big shot but he was a great LEGEND, then, now and forever.. Peace Hubert, and to all your family and friends.

He's being buried in my hometown of Homewood, Il. His burial is being paid for by Keith Richards and Mick Jagger.
