You guy's obviously like the taste of these fish, where i come from Mullet and Flounders taste horrible, very few people eat them.

@creamtt Mullets are really oily, sometimes strong, but flounders are good.

@strikenetter if u soak the mullet filets in water for a few hours before u fry them they aint oily

@creamtt Here Mullet and flounder are not the rare everyone eats. I actually prefer mullet over flounder.

@creamtt Try throwing those mullet on the grill, they are awsome that way believe it or not.

@jeff29902 Thanks, i actually fried some just a couple of days ago and they were great. I have cooked em on the grill. I filletted them scales on and placed them scale side down on a piece of tin foil. Worked great.

Damn strike, just hearing about the flatties makes me my mouth water. I'm not much of a fisherman but I have friends that are and I've been with them alot. Mainly stripers in the fall but sometimes dolphin, cobia, dogfish, black sea bass, triggerfish (which is damn good) and the usual shitfish.

After my run to Boston this past weekend, I enjoyed several Lebatt Blues which is my favorite even though the Canucks make it. AB owned them but had to sell Lit off because over 50% NYS is that.
