Absolutely: A Modern Method For Guitar by William G. Leavitt vols, 1, 2 & 3. The guitar books cover just about everything, how to play, skipping strings, playing with a pick, chord voicings, reading, arpeggios, scales, theory, harmony & playing chord melodies. So many players only play lead single notes or all 6 strings constantly. The beauty of the mini orchestra that is guitar is that you can play more than one note at the same time & play less than 6. Also, How to Improvise by Hal Crook.
@laurenpass that's the best advice to give to any musician. It's a beautiful thing when musicians share both their actual music and humanity on and off of the bandstand.
You have the technique to execute your music theory/ideas. I wish I could do that as freely as you do. Back to practicing.
