No, you see you're supposed to use the Pingas blaster to survive the first 4 and a half seconds of Door Man's pattern. After that it's really just plain easy using the Dumbass shot. Just keep jumping and then sliding under Door Man's giant televisions. After that, you're supposed to run away from him because he uses his special, the door opener. If you face it you will die. But other than that he's a pretty easy boss :P
