Text in iMovie

you shouldn't wait for more comments to make a clearer video. you should just do it period. it's almost shameful to do a video like this and only offer it in 240p. get with the times man. at least put it in 480 p, but of course hd would be better.

So- the thing you missed here was the fact that you can't add any lengthily amount of text in that box. It cuts you off. Say you wanted to put some text over black inbetween clips to explain the next scene- you can't do it, because it doesn't let you resize the text box. I hate imovie '08.

If you want to move the text freely, you will need a more advanced editing software.

I understand about adding text. It only seems to allow a certain amount of words. How do I add a few sentences rather than a title? a big thank you if you know how.

the only thing i can suggest. is making the font smaller. you can put as many letters, numbers, symbols as you could like. its a matter of running out of room

Yes but how can u add text while the video is playing kinda like subtitles. I know how to do it but like only in the biggining but then was unable to add more text..i dunno if u can help me!!
