@spib65 Thanks! Me too I saw LInk at a VERY intimate show when he was 78, or 79 I can't remember, and just before he Died. But what I do remember is that he still played just as good as the albums sound even after all those years... and , No, no tickets, Each frame is an individual digital picture, I took 2000 pics that day or something. Thanks for waching!
@spib65 Since your interested I'l tell you about it. :) I was 21 had NO Idea at the time who or what a Link Wray was when I saw a he was slated to play at the main local music venue called Otto's in a small town called Dekalb (the town in the video) I was a bouncer there, and let him and his young bass player and drummer in through the back door.
He was hunched over, balding with a pony tail, taking baby steps with his hands kind of like Mr Burns from The Simpsons... yet somehow exuded nothing but coolness. Hesaid "Hya" in a very friendly way and i showed them to the dressing room.
Nobody else knew who he was apparently in that town either because only like 9 people showed up for the concert, which might not seem like a good thing (it seems crazy to me now that I love his music), but his bassist told us after hours that Link had fun!
They had to put the guitar "on" him and I'm gonna be honest walk with him wherever he went at his ripe old age, but man, when he played is was simply amazing and vibrant sounding and really quite an oddity. I love that I got to see him with no prior knowledge of his work, and for my introduction to Link Wray to have been "in person", it was pretty word, Peace!
Wow, Link Wray is so amazing. This song is amazing, and the video fit well with it. I think the Cramps lifted that little lick to put in their "Sunglasses After Dark", the chords of which were taken from Link Wray's "Fatback"
link wray just kept putting one floor filler with another What a amazing artist godbless tht man and his family (rip)

Hi again,
Well, I'm impressed as it all seems to fit beautifully with the music, something that does not happen a lot on you tube.
And i am extremely envious, you saw Link Wray? did you speak to him?.
He is someone that I really wish I'd seen in my life time, but it never happened in the end.
Anyway, keep up the good work, you have a talent.
