I don't mean to be rude but as a Cattle Dog owner myself I think you are letting that dog down. I'm sure that the dog is great, but it is way overweight. Do you want it to die early? You are feeding it crap and certainly not excercising it enough, as shown by her obesity and the fact that her claws are not being worn down by going for enough walkies.
Why don't you get the frisbee out and enjoy your dog, and both of you get a bit of excercise that you clearly need.
