Twilight is overrated. At my school, there are girls who only talk about Twilight every single day and it's so annoying that I wanted to take a pencil and drive it through me forehead.
Rob Pattinson made an incredible job recreating Edward. I really enjoyed his kind of tortured, depressive and humanized Edward. Rob is in a such state of grace... actually it's almost imposible to look at anybody but him since he enters in scene. Cam Gigandet plays a great James as well. He captured the beasty face of the vampire handed over to their basic instincts in every move and gaze. The perfect antagonist for Edward. Finally, Billy Burke plays an amazingly sincere and honest Charly Swan.
Twilight did NOT live up to the books. But what can you expect with a movie on a $37 million budget? Not much. Most movies have at least $70 million. Twilight got barely half that amount.
Look in to how much it costs to make a movie like this. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone had $120 million to work with. Twilight got 1/4 of that amount.
Due to financial and time restraints, many scenes were left out. So, considering their resources, Twilight came out pretty well if you have an open mind

Rob Pattinson made an incredible job recreating Edward. I really enjoyed his kind of tortured, depressive and humanized Edward. Rob is in a such state of grace... actually it's almost imposible to look at anybody but him since he enters in scene. Cam Gigandet plays a great James as well. He captured the beasty face of the vampire handed over to their basic instincts in every move and gaze. The perfect antagonist for Edward. Finally, Billy Burke plays an amazingly sincere and honest Charly Swan.

Twilight did NOT live up to the books. But what can you expect with a movie on a $37 million budget? Not much. Most movies have at least $70 million. Twilight got barely half that amount.
Look in to how much it costs to make a movie like this. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone had $120 million to work with. Twilight got 1/4 of that amount.
Due to financial and time restraints, many scenes were left out. So, considering their resources, Twilight came out pretty well if you have an open mind

The movie was a freakin trainwreck! im not sure if it was bad acting or bad writing (not from stephenie meyer but from the screen play writers...) It didnt follow the book at all. the whole book was built on the meadow scene by steph m and that scene in the movie was TERRIBLE!!
