I lived in a bus in the industrial area of the Yukon in 02-04 and miss it, was born in BC and presently live in the Kootenays in a school bus, just heard a guy is living in an RV at fish lake on a prospecting/mine permit . I plan on returning there this spring cant wait...

Man, that looks like real good fun, Rich. Have you ever used traditional wooden snowshows? I have just watched Ray Mears use some and wondered what the comparison is like if any.
It's a lot of fun buddy :o) Actually I have used traditional snowshoes, and I can honestly say I love their look, but I don't find them very good to walk in. With todays technology the modern snowshoe is designed much superior for walking in. Much better binding with out a doubt. The MSR Denali Evo Ascent is a awesome one!!! Thanks for asking my friend :o)
