If you get a card wet you MUST make sure it's completely dry before you try to use it. Provided you do that it should not be damaged by water.

Thanks for doing what I'd never do. Though I did do something like this by accident to a CF card that had what turned out to be important data on it: a PowerPoint preso which went through a full laundry cycle. Yes, it worked fine.
