  • the guitar...and the cover in general is far from weak bro...

  • Really like your version of this. .and eddy is right, it's bullshit about the guitar being too weak, your sound hangs together really nicely.. great vocal take on it as well.. plus you're so obviously having fun :P

  • Good Job --- 4 stars for sure! I will be releasing my version of this song soon and it will be a first with production techniques that are based around me doing much of the Bass and drums along with billy and buddy on other parts with vocals taken from the original and all the guitar work in a way that is totally unique. It will be completed soon on Haawkexp.

  • nice play.

  • And in today's time, this is how Hendrix should ALWAYS be performed. Excellent performance, favorited and will most likely listen to this a lot more often.

  • vocals are great

  • NO Music compares to jimi not alot of poeple know this songs not in 2008

  • As much as I love Pauls (les Pauls) that strat sound is unmistakable on certain songs. This is a good cover even at the ska tempo it works big time.

  • "Hendrix wasn't much of a showman" hahahah

  • the guitarist has this special vibe you need to play hendrix i think its really really great

  • These guys are great live! Pity about the album....

  • ........

  • no soul

  • I want to play in this band. I would jump and pump the guitar to the sky where Jimmy is now.

    Any tour in a USA?

    5 stars like always

  • its jimi fucker

  • no actually it's jimmy. jimi was just his nickname along with buster or something. his full name is james marshall hendrix but it was something else before that

  • he is commonly reffered to as jimmy, thats like calling flea michael(RHCP bassist) or buckethead brian... and no jimi wasnt his nickname, buster was a nickname given to him by his father, jimi is a name he gave to jimself during his ime in new york just before he got in touch with chas changler

  • your guitarist is a great guitarist but dusn noe how to work the stage

  • Hendrix wasn't much of a showman either, it was his writing and playing that made him what he was.

  • R U Crazy? or extremly young? His showmanship is what got him on the map. Playing with his teeth, behing his back, setting his axe afire literally, singing and dancing with a right handed guitar strung upside down (first) I believe. And lets not even go into his wardrobe which was sometimes contributions of his audience "who does that anyway" except Hendrix the non-showman.

  • R U Crazy? Yes... or extremly young? Is 52 young? His showmanship is what got him on the map. I think it was his talent that got him there. singing and dancing with a right handed guitar strung upside down. Jimi could play a right handed strung right handed, in the left hand position. The guy was amazing. , no dought, but it wasn't his showmanship that got him famous. It was his mastery of the guitar and his writing that made him.

  • Well you're right that he was a master of composition I'm not saying that he was a hack or anything but talent alone isn't always enough (take it from me) so yes he had his bag of tricks and gimmicks that made him stand out from the rest big time. His flamboyant style of playing and dressing distanced him from others.

  • Jimi mentored Ernie Isley, as a matter of fact, Jimi lived with the Isley family a few years and got his first break with them. Jimi didn't like being center of attention and he didn't like to sing, but we would not have ever seen the Jimi that we all know if he would have played for another band. I didn't mean any disrespect to Jimi by what I said, he is one of the best musician I have ever seen. Take a look at Ernie Isley and from time to time you will see Jimi come out of him.

  • for your imformation jimi hated the word gimmicks in relation to his stage presance he did that shit cause he wanted too an he felt like it it wasnt an act or gimmick in fact thats why in the band of gypsies he stood still the whole show to be like fuck you and your gimmicks. cause too many people wanted the "gimmicks" an not jimi. look it up jimi on gimmicks

  • And you are right, but that still doesn't excuse the fact that in his early solo career the experirence days "He was flamboyant player and dresser" and that my friend is what attracted the bulk you heard, the bulk of his audience one of which was me. We all know that Jimi has talent to no end and that is what he wanted to showcase after he came up for air and realized the circus he had built under the influence. Don't get me wrong I love Jimi and all the craziness that made him a legend!

  • Its been fun debating with you guys. Check out the reincarinated Jimi, (except he's white this time) Jimicolors here on youtube.

  • Yes I'm up on Jimi-colors and he is indeed forged in the spirit of Jimi.

  • frickin amazing

  • Wow guys! This is great!
