  • Hey ..:)

Erm , Can someone know where in liverpool is a 'good Ballroom and Latin dance school or studio ?? ..x :) x

  • @patrycja7548 not sure if you found a studio, but if you want a studio you need to find Margaret Redmond, she judges this event and other great ones like it, and she is based in liverpool

  • i luv rechael heron!!!!

  • Can anybody tell me the name of the Samba track? I wonder this every year when they play this at UK.

  • its called 'zambezi' :D x

  • All couples are very good, but in my opinion it wasn't fair about Stokkebroes.

  • I look at these couples, and I really dont understand why the Stokkebroes won. They really dont look good at all. They do now as professionals, but I think Eugene and Maria should have won.

  • Rachael is such a beautiful, beautiful dancer. I absolutely love her.

  • This is the ross mitchell Orchestra!

The one used at the British (May Festival) is the Empress Orchestra! They are the best! The Empress just use instruments whilst Ross mitchell uses singers which are usually dreadful! Blackpool music is one of a kind and is an privilage to listen to live and even dance to! Smagin n Rachael r amazing!!!

  • does anyone knows the results?

  • 1st: Stokkebroes

    2nd: Katsevman & Manusova

    3rd: Smagin & Heron

    4th: Vescovo & Torokgyorgy

    5th: Krajcer & Kozak

    6th: Di Filippos

  • thanks... :)

  • Katsevman and Manusova!!! Maria has one of the most beautiful dress here! wauw!! they are my favourites

  • Which couple? These are some of the world's best, the Stokkebroes, De Filippos, Kracer and his partner etc

  • no sorry not at Blackpool, but it is with a live orchestra

  • That explains it. It's tough when the music you dance to resembles not a bit of what you practiced with.

  • Yes you are right, although these couples all have a lot of experience and dance well to this type of music. It is much slower than taped music that you get in the other latin competitions so that requires quite a bit of adjustment although it gives them plenty of time to do their hip work. Blackpool and this competition always use a live orchestra in the UK, they are quite traditional there, I think that the German Open as well uses one, sometimes the singers are ok other times not!

  • I agree their technique is very good but I'm a little unsatisfied with one couple's musicality.

  • let me guess ... Smagin's?

  • The blonde shorthaired girl in brown with the guy in white shirt/brown(?) vest/catsuit? Can't see their number, but at 0:46 they are towards the back edge of the floor behind the girl in nude/pink ruffles.

  • those are the stokobroes, they are the ones who won the comp.

  • Wow. I wouldn't have put them in 1st...

  • shocking i don't see what u're seeing. I know some ppl just don't like them/like their style of dancing, and i thk that often bias' their opinions of the stokobroes.

  • I don't know who they (couple #7) are, just didn't care for their dancing. My biggest "beef" with many competitive dancers is their lack of being able to deviate from the routine and actually use the breaks in the music. I know this is incredibly hard when you're dancing to live stuff (and possibly music you've never heard before). I thought there were other couples who used the music much better overall.

  • Are they dancing to a live orchestra?

  • yes at blackpool uk
