  • My God, democRats are idiots. No wonder they shoved one into the White House, temporarily.

  • I think it is time to change the 19th Amendment to read that "Each voter shall be required to have a Masters in History & Economics"...Now I know this is not possible...but I can dream, can't I???? ....This video is truly embarrassing to America.....and I hope these people are ashamed of themselves...but I guess this is what Obama depended on...

  • It is sad that they are quick to answer republican names or not know the answer every time something sounds bad. They get all get their news from liberal news sources: "PBS, MSNBC, CNN, John Stewart, Stephen Colbert?" Wow, but I really wanted to vomit when I heard "Bill Maher is a good one." This is why our country is in trouble.

  • We are all doom

  • Hey, look at the bright side, these idiots are smart enough to know saying 57 states was stupid so they are smarter than our President.

  • Great vid dude!

  • Its clear he ment 47 states.

  • same has been done for republicans. what is shows is most people are uninformed. Since most people are uninformed, democracy is a joke.

  • @warthog212:

No sir you just demonstrated your ignorance. Democracy allows the PEOPLE to pick who will lead them. With a form of government based on democracy you get the kind of leaders you deserve since you are the ones picking them. They aren't being forced upon you.

  • @warthog212 sir. you are confused if you think that we live in a democracy.

  • So ignorant. So sad.

  • 1. what's your point.

    2. questions are leading. if you asked "who said that you can see russia from alaska" they would have said palin as well. but that's not how you asked it. you quoted a comedian when that was not the topic. you were fishing for it.

and then the 57 states question right after palin questions is a leading question as well.

and do you really think McCain voters would do any better?

  • @lygophile:

How is asking "Who said they could see Russian from their home?" a leading question. This quote has been attributed to Sarah Palin by pundits and the media so often that those who don't bother to verify info accept it as truth. It's a simple question designed to see where you tend to get your information. Those that said Palin are getting their info from SNL and/or partisan media sources. Nothing misleading there. You are just trying to make excuses for these people.

  • @searcher619. it's obviously leading, and it doesn't illustrate where they get their information from at all. if they had heard it directly from Palin only, they would still have responded the same way, because you won't notice such small a difference as between "from home" or "from alaska".

it would have been straight and fair if they asked if Palin said "from home" or "from alaska", but they didn't.

  • @lygophile if they were really informed you would notice the difference. it shows that these people were not properly informed when they voted.

  • @searcher619 you are so right

  • So very sad.........

  • The saddest comment is the final comment from the girl in the purple sweater. She acknowledged that she wasn't as informed and she thought but doesn't think she would change her vote. I dunno what to say to that other than that I fear for our country if many feel like she does.

  • Thanks Obama, the gift of your Presidency has put on full display the fallacy of the progressive movement. Not only that, your failed policies have awakened the sleeping giant who are now demanding "change" by throwing out career, corrupt, lying politicians on both sides of the aisle, and forcing the American people to actually learn the issues and get involved. The real cleansing has begun. November vote out all liars on both sides who don't serve& steal from the people, only themselves.

  • @schlabresfan

And hopefully they will also learn how their government is supposed to work. It blows me away every time I hear someone think Obama can effect major change. It's clear they think the president is more powerful then he actually is. We have 3 branches to ensure no one branch is any more powerful than the others. Congress is actually FAR more powerful than the president since they have no term limits and the president is only in office for 4 to 8 years max.

  • @searcher619 and to borrow from JFK (a democrat ironically) people now ask what their country can do for them. We are becoming an apathetic, entitlement minded nation.

  • Fuckin stupid people don't even know who the elected i bet now there like wtf was i thinking

  • @Sublime111192:

One could only hope they are. I know plenty of people who voted for the man who refuse to see how bad of a job he is doing so far. I'm hoping Obama is a 1 term president and whoever gets voted in next will respect the constitution and be serious about trying to get our economic house in 2012. the fist step to that is this November by cleaning out congress as best we can and getting people in there who understand they are there to serve the people not themselves.

  • This is what the liberal media does to mediocre minds.

  • @flyingtorpedo it's amazing how easy the propaganda works now on the avg American mind. Regardless of your ilk, these people should be humiliated that they live in such a self centered world that they have made themselves willfully ignorant. I stress MADE themselves that way.

  • The DEMs count on the uninformed, the ignorant and the moochers to come out & vote for them.

  • @AssHatSockPuppet :

Sadly that's exactly what happened. I had the opportunity to listen to Obama supporters discussing what they expected him to do once in office. The vast majority seemed to expect better hand outs and expected him to do things that were well beyond the power of the president. They did not seem to understand how our government is structured. They also seemed to think president = King, Lord, or dictator.

  • @searcher619 Yeah that's pretty much it in a nutshell pretty pathetic when you think about it.But sadly this is the future of America a bunch of Liberal drones worshipping anything Obama

  • Who gives a shit. ALL politicians are shady bastards anyways.

  • There should be a test that you have to take in order to have the right to vote.

  • sad and scary.

  • These people weren't set up. They were asked to give honest answers based on their own thoughts and opinions, and they did.

It makes an excellent point that this small section of Obama voters is very poorly informed. Even the girl with glasses that seemed more educated admitted she didn't know as much as she thought.

Sadly, this group is representative of many, many Obama supporters.

Now we have a President voted in on ignorance.

  • Like NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN, PBS and on and on don't go picking and choosing the right people to try to make their points?? I think the clip points to the fact that Democrats are starting to look a little stupid. Seriously.

  • you clearly picked the 12 least informed people you could find, but, you do a great job of skewing facts, keep it up

  • @tydy91 No sir. This is but a small representation of the vast majority of Obama voters. Take a look around you....

  • Just like the people who voted for JFK.. because he was a pretty and handsome guy? LOL... thats how American politics is.. we look at image first.. policies later.

  • this just shows how dumb a lot of americans are when it comes to knowing their government.

  • That's a very bias remark. African Americans did not single handily put Obama in the white house. And if people were "still" not deluded, they could remove him.... even at this present time.

The truth is simple, anyone who voted for Obama...had to turn a blind eye. Nothing the man said was believable, and anyone who would vote for a person caught in a lie (no matter how small) deserves what they get. * Leadership, is only a reflection of the current state of it's citizens (Country).

  • Just what the left wants, an uninformed public!

These people almost seem proud or their ignorance, very sad!!

  • Well, let's be fair. this is done for every election that took place since TV was invented, with similar results. But mostly, people who vote Dem or Rep have NO idea what they are voting for. And yes, the rest of the world laughs at us over this ignorance. Oh, and let's see, given the answers about the candidates, we can see how wonderful a job our press has done.

  • this is true i hate to say. whoever made this video stacked the deck in its favor. you dont see any interviews with mccain voters. now dont get me wrong i am a conservative through and throughbut these people should just give up their right to vote and get back to the government tit.

  • Well more than just blacks. I'm hispanic and I am ashamed to admit loads of hispanics were also fooled into voting. They bought into his slick presentation and promises of prosperity and change. The Obama camp used thier ignorance and class envy.

  • Agreed that these people should be more informed on many of these questions. But you need to compare this video and respondents to those who lined up for the Palin book signings, etc. One could make an intelligent choice to elect Obama without knowing Barney Frank or the wording of an exact Palin quote. One can't intelligently support Palin without knowing a single one of her policies.

  • I keep myself pretty up to date on most things political in our government. I am also well informed on Palin and her political past and present. to be onest I feel she would have been a better choice for president over Mc Cain and Obama. Most people in the general public who support her are making the same mistake as the Obama supporters did. They like her personality and her public speaking ability. Most have no idea what her political history is or where she stands on most issues.

  • And to be fair you can't intelligently support any political figure w/o knowing their policies and history. We saw it with Obama and we are seeing it with Palin. I hope we get a better selection of presidential candidates in 2012. I am getting tired of voting for the lesser of 2 evils.

  • @jackster1212

the whole point is they know absolutely nothing about the negative things obama has done or been associated with but they know a lot about the negative things surrounding the republican candidates. they're showing the left wing media bias not how stupid they are.

  • @Tedomcmillan Is that really the "whole point" of this video? The first half of it is about whether these voters know who controls Congress and who certain prime figures in the Democratic party happen to be... or which candidate had a pregnant teenage daughter. Of the former, you can't suggest that information was obscured by the so-called "liberal" media. That's like saying they deny we have 50 states. Of the latter, Palin herself stumped about it and used her daughter on camera.

  • @jackster1212

One should know the candidates' policies but BO ran against McCain. Do most of BO's supporters realize that or think he ran against Sarah Palin? The media and Democrats seem to hate Palin so I would have to say she has to have something going for her. Myself, I did study a little and found BO did not start out as a Democrat, just used that party to get elected into office in Chicago. Do you know what party he started out in? It is interesting.

  • Saying that these were "the most informed Obama voters we could find" is a misrepresentation. From their complete ignorance, I would suspect that these people were filtered to express their ignorance. What is the chance that among 12 voters you will find none that can recognize Harry Reid or Barney Frank -- pretty low. It's true that Obama drew many NEW voters that were not engaged in politics-- I'm sure republicans would be happy for their votes too if they could get them.

  • I wish you were correct. Where I live I am surrounded by proud Obama supporters. The people in this clip are a pretty damn accurate example of their views. The few I come across who actually do appear to be informed regret voting for the man and wish they had done more reserarch on him. The economic make up of our country is a subject for another time. Fact is our founding fathers wanted strong states and a weak federal governemnt. Obama wants the opposite.

  • I have to agree, but it's not limited to one party. Our nation depends upon "informed" voters, not ignorant voters. Much of the dissatisfaction over the President from his followers comes from their lack of understanding his role.

Our nation's founders did not give the vote to everyone for a reason. That reason still exists. We should have criteria that any citizen must pass in order to vote. I would include some basic understanding of how the US government works in that criteria.

  • I have to agree with you there. Most of the Obama supporters I run into think president Obama is the same as Kind or Lord Obama. The don't get that we have 3 branches of government and he represents only one branch. they also don't understand the separation of powers. Obama made prmises he couldn;t really make good on. He alsounderstood the level of ignorane he was dealing with in the new voters and voters in general.

  • The point this clip is making is that Obama won the ignorant vote. I would ather they not vote at all since this kind f voting is dangerous. People should take the right to vote seriously and be informed before voting on who should be our next president.

  • Most Obama won the "inspired" vote. Many Americans who had not voted and had not paid attention to politics because they thought something was different went and voted for him. He "expanded" the electorate. It's really whining to complain about what the voters do or don't know. Here is Seattle I am surrounded and have many passionate friends who know the names and details of all of their reps... mayor, state senator, port comissioner, local judges, etc....

  • Believe me there are plenty of ignorant Conservative voters who deny evidence that the artic is melting, the many causes of middle east conflict, the deliterious effects of oil dependence, the effects of toxins in our soils, the fact that markets left without some regulation will take advantage of the powerless. Conservatives who are not creating a real-world set of policies around our current problems and create non-issues like the birthers or pretend that Obama is a socialist.

  • Wat does conservative have to do with this? This is about ignronat people who went out and voted for a man w/o bothering to look at what he actually stood for. Oh, as for the melting antarctic ice, I'm guessing you think it is due to global worming. It couldn't be the active volcano they found UNDER the ice. Also, birthers are a fringe group. I don't go lumping the nut jobs like PETA and ELF with liberals and you shouldn't be doing that with the conservative nuts.

  • Most people regardless of their slant care about the condition of the environment they live in. It's a myth that conservatives don't care.

  • One final note: America has deep issues with its debt. These were not created by either party.... Conservatives are willing to cut taxes, but not actually cut programs other than social services. Democrats have not cut anything either. Both parties have given way to much power to corporations. The rich get bailed out with taxpayer money... started by Bush and Paulson, continued by Obama and Geithner. If you think Palin would do better you have a damn screw loose.

  • We have the corrupt politicians we keep voting into office for that. They put politics befor ethe good of our nation. Our debt problem has been around for decades. Many economists were warning this recession was comming if our government did not stop living beyond its means. Obama is doing the same thing. He isn't willing to make the painful cuts because it would lower his chances of being re-elected. It's sickening and maddening.

  • I'm not surprised at the responses. It's not a party issue, it speaks to the ignorance of American voters in general.

However, there's nothing to suggest that these responses are random selection of votors and are not carefully-selected from a much larger number of reponses. Shoot, whose to say they weren't just acting?

People who say President Obama is a socialist are just as ignorant of reality. The USA has always embraced a mixture of economic systems of which socialism is but one.

  • That sad thing is Obama got many more people to vote that likely haven't voted for years if at all. Most of them were just as misinformed or uninformed as the people in this clip. It's pretty sad.

  • So let me get this straight: In the CON mind, knowing which candidate has a pregnant teenage daughter, and what lies the CONS are telling about Obama, makes for an informed voter? IDIOT CONS. Tabloid news is all they know about.

  • Democrats are uniformed and ignorant and it comes as no surprise they voted for a Socialist/Marxist dictator. Unfortunately, they don't know what Socialism or Marxism is either but will find out soon enough. Let me educate you, Capitalism is the UN-EQUAL distribution of wealth. (The system we used to have) Socialism is the EQUAL distribution of poverty (The system you voted for) Hope you like complete government control & poverty - IDIOTS!

  • TheRizzle:

Please don't tell me you are trying to say that makes this OK?

  • goes to show how much the MSM is influincing the politics. Now look and see who is controlling the media.

Also look at who is trying to control it.

How's all that hope and change working out for everyone? Good thing Obama is gonna change it all YEAH RIGHT!

  • The peopel who voted for him didn't listen to him. All they heard was change. they ignored his promises to do exactly what he is doing now. It's infuriating. He is doing exactly what he said he was going to do. He is changing our system of government at a fundamental level. I wish the silent majority would have found the balls to speak up during the election. Not enough people do the easy and necessary research intothe candidates they are thinking of voting for on both sides.

  • The truly scary thing is that the msm continue this practice still. We will never get an unbiased accounting from the media, but some attempt at impartiality should be expected.

  • Wow! Are we in good hands or what??

You guys wanted change...well you got it!

  • AMERICA is doomed with these idiots voting.

  • Where did you find these dumbass people?

Do they read a newspaper? Do they know anything not spoon fed by the media?

  • They were found just outside of their polling location. These poor ignroant people had just finishes voting. Notive Is said ignorant not stupid. These people were the victims of incredibly biased pro Obama and anti Palin/McCain and anything conservative/republican in general media coverage of that election. Had the media did to Obama what they did to McCain and Palin peopel would have been outraged and screaming racism. It's pretty sick and in my opinion criminal what the media did.

  • It is criminal. I am still pissed at McCain for not immediately laying to rest the clothing misinformation about Gov. Palin,

There is a sick rumor that Fox News is biased, but you know I learn a lot from watching them, and they are very balanced. I get angry at about half the people that speak, so they must be balanced. Seriously, they are the ONLY fair network.

Thanks, great video. You should have to take a course to vote.

  • stephen:

It wouldn;t have made any dif. The media wouldn't have given the truth anywhere near the coverage they give the lies and misrepresentation.

  • You know if you can't answer stuff like that prior to voting you should stay the f*** away from the polls!

  • these not are obama voters these are common dumb americans - if these are dems then repubs are far more dumber than them. they might not have known dick chiney or rumfeld either

  • Denial is great isn't it? It allows you to believe just about anything.

  • Yeah right.... Stop trying to make excuses for the ignorant. Damn near w/o fail the Obama supporters I ran and continue to run into were just as ignorant as the ones in this clip. Worse is that they knew nothing about Obama's experience or political history. Obama over overwhelmingly won the ignorant vote. You go on pretending this is not true.

  • I owuld have said yes he edited this but since I have first hand exp with Obama supporters who knew even less than these people did I have to say he most likely did not edit it to his liking.

  • so you met the majority of 60 million people, there are people who voted for mccain just because obama is black that dosent mean all mccain supporters are racist.

and i know what you going to say, 90 percent of blacks voted for clinton and about 90 percent are dems so its a mute point about the percentage of blacks that voted for obama

  • well, at least they are honest... yikes! very scary. They know exactly the nasty information the extreme-left media of this country, spewed out that was totally irrelevant, even lies.

Amazing- the President thinks there are 59 states... God Bless America... we need it!

  • It's sad to me that our current president was elected based on personality and not on job performance and experience. Most of the people who I know who actually voted for the man knew nothing about him.
