Nargis's mother was Jaddan Bai and not Waheedan Bai.

Ghalib was a great poet. Many not included here are worth mentioning, e.g.,

Qatra darya mein jo mil jaye to darya ho jaye,

Kaam achha hai wo jis ka ke moal achha hai

Aur bazaar se le aaye agar toot gaya,

Saghar e jam se mera jaam e sifaal achha hai,

Bey talab dein to maza uss mein siwaa milta hai

Wo gada jis ko na ho khoo e sawaal achha hai

Hum ko maloom he janat ki haqiqat lekin

Dil ke khush rakhne ko Ghalib ye khayal acha hai.

beautiful singing of Ghazal in old original style. So called modern ghazal singers have spoiled the melody and laya-taal part of enjoyment associated with the old original style in the new jharna (spring) type of monotonous modern singing of ghazal which is like singing of a geet rather than a ghazal.
