Hi MarkF6233, - I knew Mark Shakespeare very well when he worked for Böhm! I never heard, that he worked for Wersi, like you wrote two weeks ago, William.
@MusicBlinded51 Hi yes Mark worked for wersi after he left school. I knew him very well and spent many a great time together. The best experiance for me was when he turned up at my home and played the Wersi Helios we had at the time great....
Mark was one of the very best a true gent and friend, I still miss he a great deal.
@MarkF6233 He would have been the Klaus Wunderlich of the 21st century, if he didn't pass away all of a sudden. Such a sad loss for the music world...
Sorry a correction, the organ is the Bohm Musica Digital 1030.The DS was an abbreviation used on an earlier range, the Topsound,Starsound and Orchester models.
@Thedaanvo You're welcome, bit of a trainspotter where Mark and Bohm are concerned. This album along with Perchance to Dream and Shakespeare Goes Disco was my era of organ playing and the Bohm 1030 was the ultimate organ as far as I was concerned.Being used to the usual diet of Yamaha and Technics nothing else looked as swish as it did - says me a Technics EX70 owner lol
that`s a good idea, to upload some songs with Mark. I also visited his concerts and knew him personally. Didn`t believe when he was gone. All the best for you, William.
