And for the people that dislike this Dual BP1204 loaded Enclosure, Dual designed the XIA series amps that were built specifically for this enclosure.. @TheGoalkeeper2009 if its in your car, its your amp turning off because its pulling too much from your car bat. it turns off because its keeping from over working your alternator and burning it out. get a capacitor
@GillFreshLGS you just told him retarded information. if his amp is going into protection mode good chance is a bad ground, or he has his Gain way to high. capacitors do nothing but hurt your electrical system, and has nothing to do with this little 580 watt amp going into protection mode.

@YungGara you can use a computer psu (google it) it supplies 12v of power has an on and off switch and usually provides a good amount of wattage and amp support

You need to splice into the wire that goes to your trunk light and run another wire to the illuminate terminal on the back of the speakers.
