You need to bend your thumb not keep it straight. Hold by the pad of the thumb closer to the tip. You are over using your thumb muscles. To get rid of the pain use my Self-Help Techniques for the hand, wrist and forearm. I took the audio off, but you can figure it out. Work on the forearm and rest of hand too, but especially the muscles of the thumb.
i really can't find anything wrong. i put my thumb in the same place and it feels natural. plus since your tone is nice i would guess your bowhold is proper and right amount of speed and pressure are being used. nice job!
thats hard to know, but i´m almos sure that your thumb has a little pressure over the violin arm, if you just relax it a bit more, and you have to practice your vibrato too slowly without thumb mouvement, first with your fingers, then with your wrist, and last with your whole arm, (all the ways very slowly and watching yourself in a mirror)... i hope be this can help, overall you play very good...

Which thumb? Left hand or right hand?

It's hard to tell because of the poor quality of the video, but your intonation is very good and you make a very nice sound.

Thumb is the more mysterious playing finger for me, because videos hardly show it. I hope someone can help you.
