I liked "damn" and that last bit that Joe joked about homosexuals interfering with the democratic process. I totally got it. Other than that I have no idea what this episode was about.

@Spiffet Yeah, that was a real Chuck Bronson claim...he's kind of a despicable guy, something a lot of people either don't know or ignore!

But yeah, it was about how if you repeatedly review dudes who are awesome BECAUSE THEY ARE AWESOME it can very quickly go from impressively interesting to incredibly repetitive and dull. I realized this as I was writing the Jack Churchill episode and decided to embrace it by going metatextual on everybody's asses?

@Loreki Aw man, I've never liked clipshows. No hate for those who do, but even as a kid I remember being a little upset by America's Funniest Home Videos with Bob Saget.

"Hey Dad, so they just show stuff other people give them?"

"So what do they DO?"

"BUT THE JOKES AREN'T EVEN ANY GOOD"

That being said, I won't be offering OLIVER BRACKENBURY shirts or shirts with my face on them so there's that...

Y'know, I've met Thor's son a few times. He hasn't done anything as epic as his father but he's pretty brilliant himself. And not a little bit odd. *g*

But yeah, no patter how strange or fantastic something is, if you're exposed to it often enough it just becomes normal. This is how I imagine people put up living near an airport.

Good point about the airport, though I always have to wonder about the stank from the pollution of living near the really big ones like LAX and Heathrow.
