This cannot be done on just any system...try it and post a video...no way.

A quality transducer and a top of the line sonar like the Furuno is the only way to get results like this.

Uhhh, you need to show your gain setting, lol. Any transom mount "holds bottom" by cutting gain(power) to combat distortion. You seem to be under the impression that because "it holds bottom" its working and thats not how it works man. Check your gain settings, if they are at %50 or above then i'd say its working.

This is an AIRMAR Tm260 with a Furuno FCV 585.

50 times more sensitive than the benchmark P66.
