i was in the 319th for 3 days with a high fever. i barely made the deadline for not being rolled back. not to mention, the place was horrible. dirtbags everywhere, no discipline, and no motivation. Im grateful to have graduated with my fellow dumbass flight members. Atleast they were the hardest working and most motivated group i have ever worked with. and as the guy earlier said, STAY AWAY from the 319th. if you're sick, you better be feeling fucked up.
@stshill1 and you blame them? most lose their motivation when they are sent there. I know I did. And i was discharged for medical reasons. I was probably one of the longest lasting for maintaining my area up to standard. The 319th isnt bad and actually it was because i stayed away from 319th that my legs got so f'*cked up that they discharged me. I say if you have to go, go, but dont be a bitch and whimp out. I was told by my SGT to go to the hospital which caused me to go to 319th.
@Silvawolf100 how exactly were you so fucked up that they could discharge you? I knew plenty of people in the 319th who were injured, and as long as they didnt tap out, they had the option to stay in the air force. Not to mention, ive heard about everyones pt challenges since leaving. If you were injured, you either went into basic physically unprepared, or you were injured to begin with and never told anyone. And you're goddamn right i held comtempt for dirtbags.
@stshill1 I broke my both legs but the problem was they didnt heal right, not sure how to explain it. I guess you could say the bone was too brittle. Even though I consumed calcium tablets and other forms of extra calcium to promote the bone growth. I wanted to stay in though.
@stshill1 and because I didnt get help early on it made it worse. But being female, I didnt want to be seen as weak. im sure youve heard the controversy about females. And I wouldve made it too if I hadnt been stubborn about pain.
@Silvawolf100 im not sure if it's sexist that i feel bad now for what i said upon finding out you're a female. i know its a total non sequiter to what we were talking about, but there is something about guys with complaints thats just irritating.
@stshill1 exactly. And your fine. Most of the trainees there are a pain and lazy. Especially if the rumors i heard about the males are true. And the females are just as bad.
Fellow double 319th alumni checking in here. 22APR-22MAY & 18JUN-03JUL08. Yup that means I was sent home. Trainee Franco is my name. I met one of my ex girlfriends while on a WHMC detail. 319th was relaxing times compared to the rest of BMT. Medically sepped and I wish it didn't happen.
So this is where all the reject alumnis meet????? Well....here I am. Former fever flight member and also hold-over airman. Man...319 gave me nightmares. That place is jacked up beyond belief.
Don't end up at the 319th it sucks!! Take care of yourself. PREP b4 you arrive.
I still have to come back and finish after my con leave. and 3-4 months of rehabilitation b4 returning to regular BMT. Just say no to stress fractures--- take your calcium and build up your bone density b4 you leave to BMT!!!
i was there for bad feet. and one guy acted like spider man so he finally drew a spiderman design on the hood of his pt jacket and pulled it over his face and played super hero. there were ppl who had no business in bmt in the sep. dorm but i wanted to be there but couldnt stay. some of the guys drew big letters on a note book and spelled out words so girls could read them across the rooftop so we didnt have to yell. we got 2 titty flashes. i didnt know about it till i just looked out lol.
@GMCman82 Master Sarg Mclure was (can't remember my ranks lol, he's below the Squadron commander before section supervisors I believe If I remember right). But our Squadron commander was colonel Haughans but when I first got their I believe he was Lt. Colonel but ranked up while I was their.
@bigfoot86 staff sarg profitt was ours. he was a cool guy but being that way caused others to do pretty much what they wanted and when they get caught we all got it. he actually made us go out to the drill pad and pull every weed and pick up every rock out of every inch and every crack. some of it was from others stealing poptarts out of the chow hall. i mean come on poptarts?! thats not worth risking your career over but i guess some people are just eat up with dumbass disease.
Fuck that. When i went through basic i got sick as shit and they wanted me to go to the 319th. Ya it doesnt look bad but i would rather leave that shithole on time than get stuck there for a month or more extra. Granted my next stop was Sheppard, which turned out to be almost as shitty.
I was at Lackland from October 13th 2009, to November 11th 2009. Discharged for a migraine. Yeah...Dorm A9 is where all of the people being separated go. If you end up there, be on your guard the guy who watches them is a real ninja. He opens those doors with little to no sound.
It's basically a seperation/hold squadron. The trainees who are being either discharged for whatever reason or those who are on weight management, got hurt, life skills, or got very sick
They get more time to eat, I remember that much. The 319th is like a precursor to tech school, it's more relaxed and you get more time to eat and shower, TI's don't really come around on the weekends. It can be a good place for a mentally burned out trainee to go to regroup and complete BMT
@STEALTH872003 This is complete and utter bullshit. the 319th was easily the worst part of BMT for me and I was only there for 2 weeks before going back to training. Stay away! Stay faaaaar away!
@MagicMexican14 To be fair, we're talking almost 9 years when I went through this but my memories were comparitively good ones. What was so bad for you about going through there? My prior statements weren't bs as I was speaking from my experience
@Stealth892003 Yeah, my bad- I came off a little harsh. It was awful because 1) I was there for potential heart problems 2) NOBODY had a desire to Return to Training and many were there due to faking injuries 3) the Trainees were absolutely out of their minds and had no concept of being a Wingman 4) There was nothing to do. At all. Ever. Other than sit outside on the stupid benches and watch other Flights march by and get closer to training. 5) Did I mention how awful the Trainees were?
@cmcbunch Jesus, I can't even imagine being there for so long. Honestly, I truly believe that many of the Trainees that were there for an extended time (1+ months) were beginning to lose it. I don't know how one would survive 6 months and STILL have the motivation to return to training. Remember how they asked your motivation to Return to Training before every doctor's visit? Mine went from a 10 to a 3 in a short 2 weeks. Luckily I was cleared and got the hell outta there.
@MagicMexican14 There was one guy who was there for 3 months before me, and was still there when I left. He kissed some guy or something trying to get an early out. Didn't work for him too good lol. Yeah my time in basic sucked hard. I had to do that long low crawl 3 times. Both of my wingmen rolled over and quit right before the end. I was the last one, all by myself all bleeding elbows with like 5 TI's screaming and kicking my feet trying to get me to finish.
I was at B6(?) for 2 weeks during July 2004. There was this one guy that had been there for a while, the base had assumed he'd already been sent home. He was there for so long, we called him "Ghost". In the mornings after roll call, a couple of us would sneak back up to avoid PT(?) and go back to sleep. Fuck that place. It was boring to the brink of insanity. I would do odd jobs like painting the stalls or delivering documents just to stay occupied. Do they still paint the fucking windows?
I was there during the same time period. Are you talking about the guy that had been in BMT since Nov 03. Filipino guy that kept getting stress fractures in his tibia? I was one of the guys with the green arm bands in the get fit program.
I was there for about 2 weeks when I went through BMT back in 2002. Ko'd my dorm chief after he swung at me and went there for anger management. Gave me an idea of what Tech School would be like. One guy who was getting sperated for having asthma who was in my 1st flight asked what I was doing there, I told him and gave me props because he hated the dorm chief too. I graduated BMT Oct 02, so not all who go to 319 go home
I was in the 319th back in may but i wasnt a TRAINEE...I was one of the airman that were actually givin the responsiblility of watching trainees and bailing them out of trouble lol but we couldnt always and somtimes it was out of our hands. Yea the 319th was kinda shitty but it wasnt so bad for airman on sep or med hold it was actually pretty fun being that we ALL had our cell phones lol but all in all if you DO go to the 319th...get close to airman there they can make life a lot easier :)
my son went in aug of 07. Got really sick his last week, ended up in the 319. After a month in there, he got hurt because some tool jumped out of the bunk on wrong side landed on him and dislocated his knee. he was still "trainee" he had to seperate, was in 319 from Sept 07 to flippn Dec 07. Sepp'ed in dec. came home went to docs, piles o paper and is now back down there again almost to the frickn day! He did make it back in after all that.I don't wish fever flight or the 319 on ANYONE.
i was there about 2 weeks and fucking made me feel so worthless.. the only decent thing was getting to call home in those hot ass phone booths when its 103 degrees.. well i actually didnt mind acedemics..
we created PARS. The Parapalegic anti-rescue squad. Take your hat fold the bill in and you have a bdu beret. You really find weird crap to do in that place. Although, I will say it influenced me well enough to become a mental health counselor when I got out of the service. If you are in there and read this don't do stupid stuff to get your flight in trouble. It is hot enough with all the meds most of you are taking. Don't do crazy stuff.
Rorex was in my squadron. i remember him. we both were in the same squadron and got sent to 319 on the same day. hated sitting around for hours waiting for the damn bus to come.
haha I know what you mean! I had to be down to CQ by 6:00 AM, the bus didn't even show up until 3:00 PM... I got caught sleeping in the little room they threw me in and they had me picking garbage out of bushes - unsupervised of course... Providing some much-needed alone time. I also got to eat lunch after everyone else in the squadron, so I got to take my sweet time eating for the first time in 3.5 weeks.
I'll always remember that day that I spent 8 LONG hours waiting on a dang bus!
The only good thing I can say about that place is eating at the language school chow hall. Double cheeseburgers and sodas. I got a damn sinus infection that turned into a respiratory infection and had to spend all day in that place with a bunch of whackos and perves. One guy jumped out the day room window at night and jerked it in front of female airman. I was so glad to get out of that place.
the 319th had a major impact on my life. some of the best friends in my life i met there, went in 27Dec2007 and went home, unfortunately, 22Feb2008. i was there when the fire broke out in A1 too! A1 steak sauce forever! never made dorm chief though, was just an element leader.
AAHHHH!!!! NO NOT THE 319TH!!!! THEY TOLD ME IT WAS ALL A DREAM...THE MONTHS I SPENT...IT WAS ALL A DREAM!!! AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! dude that freakin sucked...and i feel old...y'all are wearin the abu's now...i still had that jungles...dorm b6 and b9...june 07 to oct 07...
when was this.. If thats I might have my numbers backwards but that's med hold.. And when I was there Nelseon was Dorm Chief.. Just makes me wonder how much it changed. I went to sep 2 weeks before xmas and sepped xmas eve tho..
The 319th is a holding squadron for trainees who are on hold for long periods of time. The T.I's usually leave a person in charge so they have a lot of free time.
yea I was n the 319th n it was koo. It was hella better thn the street flights but it was still all love. I was in med hold dorm A6 for flat feet 4 a month. tall smith n nelson were the dorm cheifs. U.S. air force hoot
Everyone called it candyland but its funny, i never saw any dancing candy canes. I did see the inside of my wall locker though, when our TI made us sleep in there.
I remember 319, I was sooo close to graduation, but I collapsed during warrior week and the doctors told me I had fucked up feet and hips, I still wish I would have made it through. 331 Wolfpack is the fucking best!!!
I was in the 319th fit flight for one night and I got the HELL out of that place and back to my flight. Nothing like a little motivation to knock out those push ups...we were in the dorm with the med holders and it was really hard watching them eat candy and talk on their phones...the only good thing about that place was that I got to read!
I just got home form the 319th. there has been some changes. there is still dorm inspetion but there is still a lot of free time. and now every one eats at the 326th trs untill the open the 319th up. academics is being moved up to where min reed was.
What is up with basic these days? People being able to use video cameras and such. People running down the halls acting like clowns. That would have never have happened in the 331st. It was never like that when I was there in 2002.
This is 319th, the med hold flight for people waiting to get discharged. If anything, basic training has gotten 10 times harder then when you graduated.
whats up with all of these dirtbag comments about the 319th? Myself and a few others I ran into actually were pissed about being sent home. we did our best to serve the 319th with dignity. It became tough for me near the end though and I was glad to finally come home. The 319th Brass actually want trainees to do stuff now, eg inspections and dorm setup. theres almost no free time anymore. Of the two dining facilities 319th eat at, the 326th TRS had the better food. Nothing beats the 331st though
i was in dorm A10 we had 2-3 nutcase suicide people and 1 person that had HIV/AIDS "i'm so no bullshitting omg" it was wild but i have so many memories that i'm goin to tell my kids when i get some n they get old enough
o wow...i just left the 319th i was one of the High Profile dudes there -Marshall- leaving for disrespect to 17 T.I.'s and NCO officers and was in CQH with Alvarez the guy that escape BMT by actually stealing a T.I.'s hat and freely walked off the base it was amazin. SSgt. Cabrero and MSGT. Drake, TSGT Allen and SSgt Dunklin looked after me i'll never forget BMT and the Air Force
Damn. I remember being there and fuckin pissed as shit!!! i hated that place. it too so goddamn long to Discharge us then when they did you couldn't even have a cig till you got home! FUCK THAT! i snuck out and had one at teh airport ^.^ i'm so pissed i didn't get to stay. fuckin asthma.
Sgt. Edwards was awsome! She'd call me to CQ and let me hang out with her during mail call I miss male Sgt. Harris and Sgt. Green. They were awsome...I remember them asking trick questions over the box and we'd have to send a runner with the answer to CQ. It was fun lol. And they always gave me base lib like every other weekend.
Arnold!....the second best dorm chief.....i kno when i was there i had the record for being there the longest..but i guess dat happens when u try to RTT with a Tib/fib fracture and a titanium rod placement in the left leg....was there from January 29th-through october 10th, 2007
O wow.....319th!!!!!!!!....i remember doing fire drills and yelling @ trainees on "the box"!!...lol....Dorm Cheif CQH!!!!...i miss Sgt.Edwards and Tsgt.Hambey....good times..
yeah i was in 4th week n felt the brain wash take over, we had so many stupid kids we had to suffer for in our flight too, i still remember the name "STEWARD!!!!!!!!!!!" ON UR FACE TRAINEE!! WHAT THE PISS TRAINEE!!! lol but man 319 memory's in one word Boredom. There was only around 3-4 psychopaths in a-9 then i got bumped to a-10 once my case started and basically i just kept asking this one retard for his depressent pills so i could cut them to 15mg which =sedative and sleep most of the time
I got pretty sick in basic so they sent me to the 319. I was in dorm A-6. There was people held over for rediculous amount of times. Our dorm chief was there the longest, 9 months! I got there, and our flight was full of the mental nut cases. I went to the dispensary the next morning and told them I was all better, even though I wasn't, so they sent me back to training. I just wanted to get the hell away from that place. Too many crazy people.
I was in the 319 when this was shot! Bringin back a ton of memories. Know where to find the video of the dude sounding off with the meatwad voice?

I was in the 319th back in may but i wasnt a TRAINEE...I was one of the airman that were actually givin the responsiblility of watching trainees and bailing them out of trouble lol but we couldnt always and somtimes it was out of our hands. Yea the 319th was kinda shitty but it wasnt so bad for airman on sep or med hold it was actually pretty fun being that we ALL had our cell phones lol but all in all if you DO go to the 319th...get close to airman there they can make life a lot easier :)

He did make it back in after all that.I don't wish fever flight or the 319 on ANYONE.

we created PARS.

StrattaG 2 years ago
hey whats up man!
DustinRorex 2 years ago
haha I know what you mean!

Fuck Texas! I never wanna go back there again!
yesfan951 2 years ago 2
The only good thing I can say about that place is eating at the language school chow hall. Double cheeseburgers and sodas. I got a damn sinus infection that turned into a respiratory infection and had to spend all day in that place with a bunch of whackos and perves. One guy jumped out the day room window at night and jerked it in front of female airman. I was so glad to get out of that place.
ringgiant1 2 years ago
Yeah, it was an weird place. I spent a couple days there before my med discharge.
Had an guy going around with his sock on his dick asking if anyone had seen it.

dandvc 3 years ago
The 319th is a holding squadron for trainees who are on hold for long periods of time. The T.I's usually leave a person in charge so they have a lot of free time.
oosaf 3 years ago

As of late Nov the meals were in the 321st, but literally days before my ELS ship-out, the dining hall was ready to re-open.
Personally, I never wish to be there again. In the 319th, that is.
MidnightDorifuta 3 years ago
Thank you for calling in a dining hall :)

nikki1527 3 years ago
I was in the 319th fit flight for one night and I got the HELL out of that place and back to my flight. Nothing like a little motivation to knock out those push ups...we were in the dorm with the med holders and it was really hard watching them eat candy and talk on their phones...the only good thing about that place was that I got to read!
evilfairy13 3 years ago
I just got home form the 319th. there has been some changes. there is still dorm inspetion but there is still a lot of free time. and now every one eats at the 326th trs untill the open the 319th up. academics is being moved up to where min reed was.
bmfm87 3 years ago
i hated walking to 326th. it was always raining whle was a sepper. from the hurricanes. it should be nce for the med holds--especally the crutchies.
nikki1527 3 years ago
What is up with basic these days? People being able to use video cameras and such. People running down the halls acting like clowns. That would have never have happened in the 331st. It was never like that when I was there in 2002.
dankohner1 3 years ago
This is 319th, the med hold flight for people waiting to get discharged. If anything, basic training has gotten 10 times harder then when you graduated.
generalaone 2 years ago
whats up with all of these dirtbag comments about the 319th? Myself and a few others I ran into actually were pissed about being sent home. we did our best to serve the 319th with dignity. It became tough for me near the end though and I was glad to finally come home. The 319th Brass actually want trainees to do stuff now, eg inspections and dorm setup. theres almost no free time anymore. Of the two dining facilities 319th eat at, the 326th TRS had the better food. Nothing beats the 331st though

i was in dorm A10 we had 2-3 nutcase suicide people and 1 person that had HIV/AIDS "i'm so no bullshitting omg" it was wild but i have so many memories that i'm goin to tell my kids when i get some n they get old enough

rafiqperry 3 years ago
o wow...i just left the 319th i was one of the High Profile dudes there -Marshall- leaving for disrespect to 17 T.I.'s and NCO officers and was in CQH with Alvarez the guy that escape BMT by actually stealing a T.I.'s hat and freely walked off the base it was amazin. SSgt. Cabrero and MSGT. Drake, TSGT Allen and SSgt Dunklin looked after me i'll never forget BMT and the Air Force
LynnUSAF 3 years ago
Are you bragging about that?

Arnold!....the second best dorm chief.....i kno when i was there i had the record for being there the longest..but i guess dat happens when u try to RTT with a Tib/fib fracture and a titanium rod placement in the left leg....was there from January 29th-through october 10th, 2007

yeah i was in 4th week n felt the brain wash take over, we had so many stupid kids we had to suffer for in our flight too, i still remember the name "STEWARD!!!!!!!!!!!" ON UR FACE TRAINEE!! WHAT THE PISS TRAINEE!!! lol but man 319 memory's in one word Boredom. There was only around 3-4 psychopaths in a-9 then i got bumped to a-10 once my case started and basically i just kept asking this one retard for his depressent pills so i could cut them to 15mg which =sedative and sleep most of the time
NeKaHs 3 years ago
I got pretty sick in basic so they sent me to the 319. I was in dorm A-6. There was people held over for rediculous amount of times. Our dorm chief was there the longest, 9 months! I got there, and our flight was full of the mental nut cases. I went to the dispensary the next morning and told them I was all better, even though I wasn't, so they sent me back to training. I just wanted to get the hell away from that place. Too many crazy people.
