it doesn't look like their equipment was ran through a PA system like most indoor venues are. It was all just mic'd through their own amplifiers. It was also shot outdoors where there aren't any acoustics to bounce the sound anywhere amplifying it even more. so, tl;dr outdoor shows without PA systems = shitty sounding music.
