you put the fan in the wrong fan power connector...you are not gonna be able to get the fan working correctly .. that's why the fan run as such low rpm..but if its that what you want ..its ok..

go check newegg (dot) com / ca for memory and go to advanced search and search for higher clocked ram

that link is for canadian. why would you want such high frequency ram? It really does lower your overclock on your cpu a lot. the performance gained from spending $100 more for higher clocked ram versus buying normal ram and overclocking your cpu is not worth it. my advice is to buy 1600 ram, a good mobo, and a really good CPU, and overclock the cpu.

Kinda impossible. Highest frequencies ive seen that are sold to average consumers are 2166 and 2000. To get higher you would have to overclock.. one thing you should be aware of tho. You can easily overclock a decent set of ram sticks to those frequencies if you know what you're doing. going above that is overkill. The higher you clock your ram, the lower your overclock on your cpu will have to be to accommodate the data being sent.

I hope you still read comments about this video because I have a question. I happen to have the exact same motherboard and the HyperX fan in my system. I currently have my EVGA GTX580 installed in my second PCI slot to give it some room. According to my MOBO guide, if I want to install 2-way SLI I need the first and second PCI slot. I was wondering if another GTX580 would fit in the first slot with the hyperx fan installed. Its a lot of trouble to test that out myself I'm affraid.

The fans are too far from the RAMs. If I had 2 or 3 exhaust fans in the CPU area, I think the air from this RAM cooler will be sucked by the exhaust fans before it even touches the RAMs. What do you think?

I bought this product because of this video. I wasn't able to center it on the memory modules due to my cpu fan heat pipes. I've not had a chance to see if the memory is running any cooler, but with the nice low price tag, it looks cool enough to to be considered a good purchase, even if it doesn't cool the RAM at all. I have to imagine that it does cool the RAM, I just haven't tested it.
