I don't really like the second movie. This is because the voice actors for Lou and Butch from the first movie don't return to reprise their roles. The main thing about that is that most of the time when new actors play old parts they often do origanal actor impersionation and many people think of this as a crime. Example: King Louie did not apear in The Jungle Book 2 because Gia Prima the widow of Louis Prima King Louie's first actor sued Disney...

for use of her late husband's part in Talespin and Jungle Cubs. In these series Jim Cummings who played King Louie(Just Louie in these series.) had impersonatied Prima's interpertaion of him. Once Disney settled out of court they never used King Louie any more to avoid another trial. When I heard this I thought it was a good point.

This movie is SO funny, I loved it. Sure, it's not thought provoking and you pretty much know how it's going to unfold from minute 1. There are other kid's movies out there that I like better because they are more serious. But honestly, when you rent a DVD that is titled "Cats and Dogs - The Revenge of Kitty Galore", with flying cats and dogs on the cover, you KNOW what you're gonna get. Don't complain afterwards that it's so silly.

I can't believe they did a parody of Silence of the Lambs in it! It wasn't even a funny parody, either! None of the kids are gonna get that... at least they shouldn't. This movie SUCKED. My little sister was throwing stuff at the TV by mid-opening credits.

i didnt like the first 1 when i was like 10, as the cats where portrayed as the villians, and the dogs where shown as all cool super hi-tech. like how the fuck could a dog build the high tech shit. lets say they have the brains to do it. but come on they have no fingers, have u ever tried to do stuff wearing mittens? Our family saw it today. Our 6 yo didn't like it, my 11yo son said it was good, I loved it but also loved the first one, my wife enjoyed it but liked the new Alice and wonderland better.

She has consistency, it's just not YOUR consistency. She herself said something to the effect of "I like me some talking animals," which should tell you all about herself. Note that there is no set bar to objectively judge when someone is being "arrogant," "superior," or whatnot -- pretending that there is makes you look dumb, especially when judging other people giving their oppinion on subjectives (likes, dislikes). I mean something like Homeward Bound isn't a childish movie. Now this movie is intended to be much more for kids, but talking animals in general isn't childish.
