@tlig you are a great person even though i don't know you but i could see through your perspectives of looking things and your conclusion because that's just the basic fact about majority of nigerians they worship money regardless the source of the money.
@Femi kuti may God in His merciful heaven keep guarding you and yr family and the rest of a few like you in the country. Even though i don't stay in that country anymore but i still cry for the state of the country because evil has taken over nigeria rulers and now they're only heading toward their pay time whether they like it or not their pay time must surely come even their children will pay for it.
GEJ is a bastard for saying Nigerians want everything for free. pls what do Nigerians get for free? meanwhile it is the bastard and is cohorts in government getting everything for free we pay for their food housing health even clothes while we are left with nothing na all the gods of the land go punish them all bastard sons and daughters of a thousand father s
@TheFlutevisions It needs a social (moral) revolution; the majority of it's citizens- and I mean every sector- worships money. No society prospers when driven by mindless greed.
Our protest is not just about the fuel subsidy, it's about the insecurity in Nigeria and the carefree attitude of the government, the high corruption in the government, lack of basic amenities of life for 70% of Nigerians.Government should effect a radical cut on their salaries.Let's hold these leaders accountable now and prosecute those that ruined Nigeria. We ask for a free, fair, equal and just Nigeria where the benefits of been an OPEC member and a democratic society will be visible to all.
Femi kuti understand the problems facing Nigeria in general. Many bad criminal in the govenment..Powerful elite is destorying the country for their selfish reason.Thank you femi kuti for ur out spoken.
This was heart wrenching. Oh God! save Nigeria. Femi did an excellent rendition of the country's devastating reputation for the past 12 years. Unfortunately, blood has to be shed for freedom and justice. Someone mentioned already; how can so many people be ruled by a smaller number of crooks and thugs. Something is wrong. Why? It is time for Nigeria to occupy! God bless America and the struggling people in Nija! We love you!
My brodas and sisters,i dey shed tear when listening to this,if we allow them to win this time again,it means,we 've mortgage the future of our unborn generation cos my own generation didn't achieve anything cos i know NLC will dance to the tune of the govt very soon but we the common on the street should let it go just like that cos i ran out of Nigeria becos my business crumbled in Nigeria due to Power issue but i left Nigeria becos i have an alternative but what of the vast majority that
this old nigerian corrupt leaders should be aware we are coming soon we shall get to them that day there will be no hiding place for them all they will all pay for nigerians suffering since 1960 the day is near
Look we the people that suffer in this country we are more than a 100 million. The poor people who suffer, get robbed, murdered and deprived by the nigerian governments...we are more than a 100 million in number.
The people who are fucking this country up do not come up to that number. Can they withstand the collective weight and anger of all of us? Enough is enough.
They say they want to do this with this money and do that with that money from the budget.... how about the foreign aid money given to them by the rich countries of the western world? Have you ever heard a minister of finance or any president talk about what they did or plan to do with the foreign aid we recieve. And they want to cut the fuel subsidy? After they deregulated the oil industry for their benefit, they then decide that we the masses should pay for their crimes.
I am very angry. What gives this small group of individuals who purport to rule, the right to force millions to live worse than animals on the lands of their forefathers. The foreign aid from the British Government in 1960 was £14.16million, by 2006 it peaked at £3192.47million. As at 2009/10 foreign aid from the UK aid was at £114million. In 2010, the US gave us $614.7million in foreign aid. Does any one know what the government does with over £800million (₦200 billion) we receive each year?
So much truth from Femi, much like his father Fela's words in "Confusion Break Bones". Corruption is the number one thing we must fight against for Nigeria to move forward. People must be held accountable for the failures in the past and present.
hmn! great man, femi kuti, u realy try 4 we masses but pls don't relent in fighting for our human rights.Thanks.
