  • same guitar does yours have the emg 81/60 some i think come with just both emg 81 mine came with emg 81/60 the 60 are good for clean!!!

  • how many watts is your amp?

  • how can any1 dislike this ?.... ._.

  • @gamershiz

prob because i didnt know a certain few Rhythem parts while kirk plays over it ( i norm play a lot of the KH riffs)

but i made it at least sound ok, ... or so i thought so lol.

  • @Skybreak31 I accually bought this guitar almost just because of this vid man ! And i love the guitar :) Easy to play ;) \m/

  • does that guitar play nice aka if u change strings to the same guage will there be any chance of fret buzz ? occuring and out box do u notice any fret buzz ?

  • How are you getting this good sound quality if you aren't recording your guitar through a Guitar Port ( USB Interface? ) Good cover

  • @MrCherryKush

well if you turn it up a lil more you can hear some static/distortion in the video..

i'm not doing anything special though.

i use a JVC Everio HD - GZ-HM300 Camcorder, i plug in a mini mic end that came out of one of my gaming headphones.. it had a detachable mic for when a person didnt wanna chat ... anyhow i use that and plugged it into my HD Camera, set the camera across the room so that it isnt too close to the amp (a LOT more static/distortion if i do) also i had to turn m

  • @MrCherryKush

    cont'd

i also had to turn the volume down very low in order for it to record and not be tooooo loud in the speaker.. even though in the video it sounds like the amp is turned up loud.. in reality is really is not up loud at all.

so that and with the camera being about 7 feet away from the amp is the only thing i can think of that would make the vid sound the way it does.

i hope this helps, if you have any more questions please ask =)

    Keep Rockin!

    \m/\m/

  • @Skybreak31 Yeah. Sounds like its loud but I guess not, I thought about getting that guitar but I got a Schecter Synyster Custom ( Regret it ) Now Im wanting the guitar that I should Have gotten... The Schecter C-1 Hellrasier FR. Its a real nice guitar... Keep doing covers.

  • @MrCherryKush

Thx man, and yea i love this guitar.. it plays sooo smoothly.. i really like it.

i will hope to have some new covers up here shortly.

i'm currently working on / teaching myself how to play "Nightmare" by Avenged Sevenfold.. also gonna work on a few more metallica songs.. not sure which ones yet (if u have a suggestion or request, lemme know)

i also gotta work on a few Breaking Ben songs for a buddy of mine and there was 1 more but can't remember off top what it was lmao..

    \m/\m/

  • @Skybreak31 Yeah.. There is that one part in the solo after the sweeps and before the divebomb into the verse in "Nightmare"... It's tricky Its a really good song by them... Ive Already got the sweep part down...

  • @MrCherryKush

very nice, its gonna take me a good lil bit to get that down and make it sound right..

i'm already shitty when it comes to sweep picking.. but i'll just have to do my best and let it be what it turns out to be haha =)

    Keep it Heavy! \m/\m/

  • @Skybreak31 Yeah, Im not good at sweep picking either, I can Decend Really quickly on a 5 string arpeggio, but I can't go back up... So... Im gonna work on that... And how much did your camera cost? Cuz My webcam is really laggy and I wanna do a guitar cover.

  • @MrCherryKush

the camera can cost anywhere from $250-$350, just depends on where you get it.

i think i paid around 300 at walmart. also i just looked at walmart's website and they got a bunch of those types of camera's, all diff variations of what i got, they all do basically the same thing just a few perks here n there.

search JVC HD Ervio GZ-HM300 at walmart's website and you'll see what im talkin about =)

lemme know if ya have any other questions, i'd be glad to help =) /cheers

  • can this amp get close to metallica tone ?

  • @card1100

    yes, very close.

there are at least 3-4 preset songs already on the amp itself (spider jam)

enter sandman distortion and clean settings

for whom bell tolls to give the ride the lightning album sound

master of puppets to give more of a Master of Puppets album sound.

    nothing else matters clean setting

might be 1 more, but thats all i can remember for now.

    hope that helps !

    Rock On! \m/\m/

  • @Skybreak31 how about any loweermodels like the 30 watt

  • awesome guitar but you need alot more pratice bro cuz your missing alot of notes keep up the good work though

  • @turtletaubtbear

yea i messed up some of the ryhtem part, n maybe a few notes here n there on the solo. i have since then fixed a few of the probs (not all), but do plan on remaking a vid soon with it going better.

Thanks for taking the time to comment, have a good day! =)

  • @turtletaubtbear

yea i know, i just recently got the guitar, so i'm adjusting and i know its not 100% accurate on my notes, but i expected it to be a "tad" sloppy.

since i'm self taught, i lately have been working hard at my finger positioning and tempo with picking hand making sure one isnt tryin to out race the other.

i'm currently working on the Ride the Lightning solo, that is def a good challenge for me and to be able to work on my accuracy of hitting the correct notes at the right speed.

  • lol what are the enter sand man settings ?

  • and what amp are you using ?

  • @BLUEWIZARD40

    check description info =)

  • man this cover sounds awesome !!

what pick ups does this guitar come equiped with when you buy it ?

  • @BLUEWIZARD40

    come stock w/ EMG 81/60

(i think i've heard/seen some that say they have 2 EMG 81's, but i'm fairly sure mine has an 81/60 in it)

i'll double check my paper work/spec's and find out for sure.

but if u get the KH 602, they come stock with "ACTIVE" pickups, where as the

KH-202 does not come with active, the kh202 has passive ESP pickup's (i think)

they are still great pickup's for passive's, but i personally LOVE my active pickup's over passive.. my personal preference though

  • @BLUEWIZARD40

also if you like this cover, check out some of my other Metallica covers i have up.

i also plan on recording more metallica songs soon as my work schedule eases up a tad.

Songs for future recording will be (w/ solo's)

    Welcome Home (Sanitarium)

    Ride the Lightning

    Battery

    Bleeding Me

Those are the top 5 on my current to do list. if you have any suggestions or requests, by all means lemme know and i'll do my best to knock it out n put it up

i'm also working on the new Disturbed CD

  • @BLUEWIZARD40 allright thanx man , I heard its a pain in the ass to change the strings on a floyd rose is that true ?

  • @BLUEWIZARD40

the changing of the string is the easy part... its the configuration and set up of the floyd rose AFTER the strings are put on that is the pain in the ass.

so all n all , yes it is kinda a pain the ass. you should always have a professional or a tech (i go to guitar center and have their guitar tech setup my F.Rose)

if you dont get a proper set up after changing strings, it can become a pain to play the guitar.. depending on how outta wack the set up is after strings are changed

  • @Skybreak31 so you have to get it set up every time you wanna change the strings ?

  • @BLUEWIZARD40

    you don't "have" to

but i HIGHLY recommend it when using a floyd rose tremelo setup.

that's mainly to get the perfect tone with no wrong feed back type sounds.

you can still play it w/o getting it set up though. right now after tuning my stings to a diff tuning and then back, my set up is all outta wack, but i am still playing it, i just havent had the time or money to go have it done professionally

  • mate the cover is awesome, i just bought this guitar and i heard some about it...bad and good things..what are your advices? iis it any good?

  • @EduKage

    i absolutely LOVE THIS GUITAR!!!!!

plays like a champ, its a good weight distribution and sits well while on a strap (least it does for me)

all around i'd give it a 10/10. imo, if u want a good guitar for the cash, i'd def pick this one!

    hope this helps!

  • Awesome !! 5 out of 5 \m/

lol @ " I drink too much Dr pepper"

Caffeine is a must for fast playing metal riff's im addicted to Pepsi

it helps play fast and keep up with metallica and megadeth's riffs \m/ !

  • @METALLIDETH901

hey thanks man! love me some Dr.Pepper haha =)

Check out my other Metallica Vids!

  • And just when I thought I couldn't love this song anymore....you made it happen :)

  • Wow nice awsome!!!!

  • @khadorkovskiy7

    Thanks! \m/\m/
