To FatalFist, yes but in order to be a first person 'shooter' (FPS) you have to be able to - SHOOT, myst was more of a first person thinking mans game, or simulation to be more exact so thus could never be labled as a 'shooter!'

...first person maybe... having a cursor on your screen and using it for pinpoint accuracy like you described is NOT technically shooting now is it..

i would say this is more of a WoW-diablo-fallout 3 mix just because of the huge open world and first person shooter, rpg and loot comes from both diablo and WoW and somewhat from fallout 3 because of the questing, but no loot, and the first person shooter aspect comes from fallout 3, thats just MO.

fallout wasn't exactly a FPS it just looked like one because to be effective int hat game you had to enter VATS has just shooting the enemy like a normal shooter did not do all too much

Traditionally it wasn't a fast paced FPS but never the less displayed hit boxes, that relied on pinpoint percision and for an FPS that's all that's needed beyond the field of view. Technically an FPS is labeled by perspective, Myst (an investigation and puzzle solving RPG world-game) was an FPS because it was a first person perspective.

While this game looks fun, it is after all made by Take2, aka Rockstar aka 2kGames, and they often make games that plz the newbish masses but disappoint core player (read GTA5, Bioshock) So, try not to expect much and you will be happier.

I got a Crysis computer, and I can tell you there is not enough extras that would make you need that much in this game. To me that doesn't matter though, I have been wanting this game for 2 years. (for the flamers out there, I run Crysis full max specs)

If the PAX demo is even remotely representative of the full game this is THE GAME to beat in 2009. Stunningly gorgeous (it actually looks better than the HD trailers they've put out), silky smooth framerate even in split-screen, and the guns are f'ing AWESOME!

Plus they confirmed that the second player can use their own save file and earn trophies on PS3, which almost NEVER happens. It's sick, son!
