im a little new to raiding and in fact am just reading up on it before getting to it. im not sure if it was just me but it seemed like on heroic it was less damage or smaller timer etc. isnt heroic a more difficult version?

Yes, heroic is the more difficult version of a raid.

I was in a group in 25 man naxx where everyone was infront of him so we got like 8-10 slimes all the time :S
