  • @rgruesbeck thanks for your comment

  • An awesome hip take on it that doesn't take away from the beauty of Coltrane's version like a lot of others I've heard. Well done man.

  • Hey thanks chawn5. Really appreciate the kind words

    Cheers

  • Great take, with a lot of Groove!

    Congrats!!

    This song is just SICK...

  • Are you Peter Muller?!?!

  • No. Peter Dowse. Wasn't Peter Muller on the Swiss Alpine Downhill team?

  • LOL! I have no clue but Peter Muller is a phenomenal bass player and I thought you were him. You should check him out. But I thank you so much for this version of Marcus's Lonnie's Lament. I love it! It's so classical and jazzy at the same time and you opened my eyes to classical/jazzy soloing somehow, lol. But you are a blessing to the world man. Keep it up. I love your solo. Actually scrap that.....this vid is a perfect 10. God Bless you man.

  • Hey Peter! You sound great my man! I miss playing with you...are you ever gonna come back in MTL?

    Take care! Eric

  • Hey Eric, ca va? I miss playing with you too! I saw the promo for your show, how did it go?

Mtl. is a long way from here..I don't know

    Cheers!

  • Peter, You sound great! Great sound and ideas. You're getting better with age you old vermin! Max

  • I know. I like to leave my bass in the corner to collect a ton of dust for 6 months, then play it without cleaning it. Only my mind tells me the dust is there.

  • The best way to learn: leave the bass (or whatever instrument one plays) in a corner for a few months :)

  • achiappa, thanks for the comment.

     I checked out your site.

    Nice!!

  • I agree. I think about and listen to music much than I play, and I just keep getting better. Or, you could be like Steve Vai and do 30 hour practice marathons so you can shred on your 3 necked guitar all night....
