I COMPLETELY agree. Fighting and self defense is one thing but this sounds crazy...and the people enjoying the unnecessarily gruesome parts of this video are even more so. Im versed in a few different martial arts including Krav Maga which can be pretty hardcore in itself but its meant for self defense.....this just sounds sick in certain parts.

I came to see some knife defence and aplications but ones I saw 10 ways to severely injure some1 in a min including piercing from one eye into the other ( through and behind the nose) I am officially off. I prefer being shot by a gun and that's what ,me being noble, prefers to do to an attacker. Sigh

This thing is designed to kill, the public opinion is going to be that you had it for that purpose, that you were looking for trouble. "You can't block with a karambit, the strength is it's stealth." makes the self defense plea hard for a jury of little old ladies to swallow.

Nah weigh it up any way you want, but in this situation if you decide to stab someone (most likely you would just let it go as it's only a queue) stab em from behind, then get the fuck out of there before people ID you

does anybody have a good guide on how to safely remove the keyrings on these knives? I tried to do it on a few of mine but i keep taking off large peices of the handle.

@BeeBran333 I bought myself a foldable karambit sometime ago but then I stopped carrying it with me when I realized that most of the moves I know using the karambit are kill strikes. I realized I am not ready to kill a man. I don't think I'm capable of it.
@breinz Probably good not to carry your karambit around anyway. As far as I know most states don't really want you carrying one on you. (I'm from MN. My karambit has over a 3" blade.) Also, even if you were attacked first, murder is very hard to get away with even in self defense.

I like the way the karambit is stealthy and the deadly shape of it. You could swifty severe someones jugular 'vein' on the side of their neck before they even knew you had a weapon, in thee event you've been surprised and they have a knife. I'm into martial arts and the karambit reminds me of a raptor claw which proved lethal in evolution
this knife is deadly for CQB(close quarter combat) its great for what i do. i do old style muay thai, boar bando and ledrit mix. in the ledrit style and concept(destroy your opponents weapons) with this knife is just easily said F#%ken evil. its best to avoid any guy with knife like this cause chances are he knows how to use it or hes got a thing for exotic blades.
Good video... Just a thought... I have observed the karambit used to block many strikes. It is very effective for shoulder stops and defensive blocks from a assailant who is kicking at your head while you are on the ground. It can be used blade up or down for blocks. Check out "Raw Combat" videos addressing the karambit. This is a good video you have though... Good Work.

Nice techniques, but to me it seemes kinda exaggerated.
I think most martial arts are not meant to kill people, but to make them unable to go on fighting. I guess, it depends on the situation...
