so if you use the daily disposable ones, can you just put the solution that's in the plastice case in the contact case? (If you need to put ur lenses in the case during the day)
Expert Village has officially the worst how to videos on youtube. This is incorrect and a health hazard. The guy didn't even actually clean the lenses, he just put them in the case. He also didn't mention you need to wash your hands. If you wear contacts I hope your doctor explained how to take care of them and you aren't relying on these ridiculous videos. This guy obviously has no credentials.
read Don't laugh at this! Just do it Start thinking something you really really want cause this is astounding the person that sent this to me said their wish came true 10 mins after they read the mail so I thought what the heck You have just been visited by DrSuess's Cat in the Hat. Um...you forgot to mention the fact that with the multi-purpose solution the lenses have to be rinsed on each side for 5 seconds BEFORE adding them to the case. Then they have to be filled with clean solution in the case. None of the no rub multi purpose solutions say to just add it to the case like that. You may even rub the lenses if you want them to be extra clean.
i dont no if u can help me ... but i wear contacts and hopefully u do aswell to help me lol erm the problem is sumtimes wen i put the contact lense in my eye it stings and i no i havent cleaned it good enuf and im really sik and tired of finding little bits on them but wen your in a rush for work all u wanna do is get them in lol so is there any way u could explain the best way to make sure there clean ?? if u could it wuld really help thanks if u can get back to me .. nathan
First off, make sure you are using the correct solution for the type of lenses you wear, and make sure it is a good brand. They should be cleaned thoroughly before adding them to the case at night.Either rinse each side for 5 seconds, or put a few drops and rub each side for 10-20 seconds and rinse. Then make sure they soak for at least 6 hours (instructions vary for each brand so check them). They should be ready to insert in the morning. You may rinse again if you want but you don't have to.
@newoldkid If you have soft lenses, you rinse with a multipurpose solution, and if you are just going to rinse them it HAS to say "no rub." Check the individual instructions to make sure it says 5 seconds and not something else. Do not use plain saline solution, this does not clean lenses. You may use saline solution to rinse your lenses before you put them in though, it may help them to be more comfortable.
can we use saline water ?
