hey man, sick jeep. what type of muffler/cat/exhaust system was on it? thats the sound im looking for out of mine, but mine is no where as distinct as that, and it dosent have that noise when the engine calms down. i have a glasspack (cheap) but it just dumps out before the rear axle, no tail pipe. so its loud, but im looking for something like this. also was that just the stock 4.0 engine? was a cam put in it? i thought i heard a turbo whirring in there too..
@blainsminigun Thanks man. I believe the previous owner installed a glasspack too, but what you are hearing here is my exhaust leak. Believe me, the car got a lot quieter around inspection time. The 4.0 engine is stock.
@MTLKEBEK I no longer own the vehicle, but it had a 5 inch lift and 33 inch Wildcat All Terrain LT tires. I don't remember what lift kit it was. I still have the spare tire sitting in my living room, oops. :P
dude i just bought a 90 jeep, i love jeeps always will!!! i've been meaning to sea foam my jeep but i guess you can say im a bit scared i'll fuck it up!!! hahaha is it pretty easy to do?? and how noticeable of power and performance change did you feel? did your exhaust run smoother??
all those 4.0's are known to get rusty fuel lines inside. mine started missfire'n oneday in the woods. drove it home checked all the ignition and couldnt figure out what it was. unplugd each injector till i found one not workin. pulled the rail off blew it out cleaned out all the injectors (rust and crap every were) hollowed out the cat. and now i beat gsr integra's lol. no lie

@Drummercano Yes, it improved my gas mileage too. Also, when you put in Seafoam, you're able to tell whether or not you have an exhaust leak.
