@realmexthug08 Its ok that its not ur favorite song. I think thats it tho, its just another slow song, but its especially moving because of the situation. People are thinking about it in context: she's about to die and he's confessing his love for her(in song. ;) ). I'm not sure how to describe the appeal, but thats the best i got. :]

Let's just put it this way: if you had a girl/boyfriend pretty much laying on their death bed, would this song represent your own expression? That's where the emotion comes in. That's why people love this song.

I think we need to remember that this is a movie, not reality. In fiction, someone can die and come back to life.

My opinion: She DID die. Otherwise she wouldn't have seen Angel on her way to heaven, where Angel told her to turn back. Mimi coming back to life was a miracle, which is part of the magic of the film.
