  • @MrCabez4 you are joking, right?

  • So beautiful! Thanks for sharing :)

  • Dammit, can't figure this out. How to get the colour of the water to change under the surface...

  • looks like a two planes oen with the geograhpy of the under water sea bed and one is a video clip of water with a transparency effect so you can see through most of it. which would give off that effect

  • how did u do the cut away effect?

  • I can get 3ds max for free if I want it (im a student) but I have already learned a bunch about blender. Should I learn this or stick with blender?

  • @Qzyxya learn this definitely, this and Maya are industry standards, and a lot from Blender will be transferable, once you know where the buttons are.

  • @danposmaytee Thanks, but I already knew that. Do you know anything to compare them? If I'm going to spend time to memorize a bunch of keys, I might as well not memorize keys that won't help. If you don't know, that's fine. I can always ask other people and read blogs and stuff.

    :D

  • wow you made this in nintendos very own 3ds

  • I love the caustics in this one

  • This Isn't Realistic This Is Real!

  • I'd guess that you've used a falloff map on the refract slot, maybe noise maps on bump and diplacement slots (different sizes) and fresnel reflections... caustics would make the green light under the water?

Real nice work there, I'll try it later

  • please a tutorial !!!

  • This looks great! I have seen many native 3d materials but this one is by far the best. great job!

  • We're getting there. The Matrix.

  • How soon lol

  • Very Nice :)

  • Is this native 3ds Max or using RealFlow?
