  • Stunning!

  • About 30 years ago I went to the Rothbury Festival and saw a girl about the same age as Chloe playing the pipes, I think her name was something Tickell, not sure what became of her.

  • @JohnM1955 Lol, Let's hope this fine young player becomes as successful as Kathryn Tickell.

  • Brilliant! I play both these tunes on the highland bagpipes and they sound just a good on the Northumrian pipes especially when played as well as they were!

  • Absolutely marvellous playing and done with such joy for the instrument. Great, keep going!

  • Hey very well played ! can u plz tell mi wut type of bagpipe is this ....iv been wanting to find out about bagpipes with bellows ....plz specify its specifications and its name :)

  • chloe keep up the good work you are brilliant for your age" good luck in the future

  • Have always liked the sounds of the northumbiran pipes, a family member is a well known local maker of such things.

  • super!

  • If the Govt cared about saving and preserving traditional English culture, people like this girl should be rewarded with real tangible benefits, money, tax breaks, whatever, but this should not go unrecognised or unrewarded.

Although not from Northumbria myself, hearing anything like this instills a quiet pride in my being English.

  • well done chloe :D

  • I fervently hope that she makes a career out of her music and doesn't give it up. She has all the qualities and attributes that are needed and can only go from strength to strength. Wonderful infectious enjoyment in her presentation and great ability. Definitely one for both the present and the future.

  • What a delight!!! I was sitting here at home and actually began to clap enthusiastically as she finished. Astonishing for such a young musician. There's hope in the World yet when there are young people like this around to carry our culture into the future. Thank you for posting this.

  • An outstanding performance! bellows-technique, fingering and timing all very well done - but if you continue to play with your shoulders hunched forward like that you WILL develop a chronic rotator-cuff injury!

I did, and it did, and it was a couple of years before I could play any bellows pipe again.

  • not bad for 12 years good job/

  • Absolutely brilliant. Fantastic to see young people keen to play traditional music. I'm soooooo jealous!! Would love to play.

  • Pure class! Love that sound and the quick runs.

  • Such a delightful young lady.

Now dont make us wait another twelve months for your next master piece!!

  • WoW! What a gift of God!! Wonderful!!

  • Fantastic playing! I'll keep an eye out for you when you're playing pro gigs around the country.

    Gan canny!

  • Her facial expressions starting at 4:00 are absolutely priceless.

Completely takes attention away from her spectacular timing.

    Charming.

  • Hello, Chloe!

These are very fine tunes and different to scottish highland bagppes I learn to play. Your sound invites dreaming of beautiful landscapes in the border.

    Keep on practising and playing!

    Kind Regards,

    Joerg, Germany
